When a client works with a RE/MAX agent who participates in the Miracle Home® program, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals receives a donation in their name upon completion of their home sale or purchase. Operation RE/MAX is an employment recruitment program, targeting military spouses, retirees, injured veterans and other ex-military personnel. Volunteer RE/MAX brokers agree to attend on-base job fairs, sponsor informative “recruiting events”, provide personal mentoring and schedule training as needed. All of these activities are provided at no cost to military participants. The RE/MAX broker also provides information on possible employment in the real estate industry, to assist program participants in deciding upon a career path. If interested in pursuing a real estate license, the broker can also provide detailed information on local licensing requirements. In many cases, classroom instruction for obtaining a real estate license can be paid for by GI Bill benefits. Operation RE/MAX Real Estate careers For military families. What does it cost to hang with CNN star Wolf Blitzer and act like a cable newsman? How about a cool $1 million? At least that's what Dave Liniger, chair and cofounder of RE/MAX, paid this month for CNN's "Warrior One," the cable's Iraq war Hummer that Blitzer helped auction off at the famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Ariz. Auctioning the Hummer, refurbished by the TV show Overhaulin', was the idea of those who operated it in Iraq. Their goal: helping raise money for the Fisher House Foundation, which builds "comfort homes" for families of hospitalized military personnel. CNN sent the full $1 million to the charity. Our mission is to provide lifechanging opportunities for men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who have suffered severe injuries and need the support of grateful communities to realize their dreams. Since 9/11, for every American who has died in battle, dozens more have survived, thanks to cutting edge military medical care. That means, unlike any other time in history, many more severely wounded are coming home, faced with the challenges of putting their lives back together. Sentinels Of Freedom provides four year "life scholarships" to help vets become self- sufficient. Our vets are finding that once they're released from the hospital, they face the everyday hardships of finding a home, continuing their education, or going to work to support their families. Every American faces the same difficulties, but in the vet's case, the situation is made more difficult because of their sacrifice. Want a chance to deck out your driveway Celtics style? Since RE/MAX became the title sponsor in 1995, the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship has evolved from a low-key event to the premier grass-roots golf event in the world - one that includes golfers from virtually every corner of the globe, and one whose finals are televised annually on ESPN. The world’s best long hitters compete every October at the Long Drive finals in Mesquite, Nev. Watch the longest hitters in golf on ESPN2 on Christmas Day. The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship powered by Dicks Sporting Goods evolved out of the National Long Drive Championship, which began in 1975. It has grown from a mostly low-key event to one that includes golfers from virtually every corner of the world. Competitors come from more than 15 countries, and vie for a purse worth over $450,000. Many of the purse winners donate a portion of their winnings to various charities around the world. A company image seven stories tall. Multiply that by more than 120 and you have one of the largest fleets of hot air balloons in the world. Across North America and now increasingly around the globe, the red, white, and blue balloons emblazoned with the RE/MAX logo participate in balloon meets, highlight charitable and business promotions, and drift above athletic events. Overview The RE/MAX hot air balloon is the perfect teaching aid that adds excitement to the lesson of Thermodynamics. The program is designed to teach the class about the physics of why hot air rises, how hot air becomes less dense and what happens to the molecules during this process while of course being introduced to man’s first form of flight the hot air balloon. Grade Levels This program is designed specifically for the elementary school aged children. We recommend from 2nd – 5th grades since the younger children are sometimes afraid of the balloon and the older kids bored with the program. For the younger children we recommend viewing the balloon from a good distance away and not included in the education portion since most of the material would be too advanced.
