Brother Knights All,
Welcome back to all our members who have been arriving this month. We can sure use
your help as the season will be here very soon and there are many planned activities
coming up.
We had another successful spaghetti dinner for Christmas Island Style. Thank you to all
who volunteered. We also signed up a new candidate for the Council.
Thank you to all the Knights who came out to help the Columbiettes with their Treasure
in the Trunk sale.
On Saturday November 28th before the 5:30pm Mass, the Knights will be praying the
Rosary as part of our 5th Sunday Rosary event. Finger Rosaries will be available for
distribution.
Work has begun on the Christmas float. The Christmas parade will take place on
Saturday night December 12th. We are hoping for a big turn out for this event. The
Saint John Neumann cheerleaders will be marching with our float this year.
Bingo season begins January 7th. Please take the time to volunteer for one or all of the
4 teams.
The Banner will be available thru e-mail and web site only starting early next year. We
will be able to save a lot of time and money. For anyone who would like to have the
banner mailed to their house please contact me ASAP. There will be a cost for printing
and delivery by U. S. mail for anyone requesting home delivery.
We had 2 first degree ceremonies so far this year. We have added 3 new members and
7 more possible candidates who will be interviewed by the Admissions committee.
Please keep in mind our goal for this year is 20 new members. If everyone would
recruit one new member we could easily reach that goal.
I want to take a moment to wish all the Knights, Columbiettes and their families a
Happy Thanksgiving.

Dear Sister Columbiettes:
It is starting to get cold up north so a lot of our Columbiettes are coming back to Marco
Island. We are having a lot going on with our First Degree for seven new Sister Columbiettes at our meeting
November 3, 2015. If you know anyone who is interested in becoming a Columbiette we are having a First Degree and Major Degree in February. There will be more information on that date later. Just contact me and
we can get a membership application to them.
We will have Columbiette shirts and aprons for sale at the November meeting. There is Polo and Long
sleeve shirts from small to X-large available.
Our Treasures in the Trunk Sale was a great success . With the phone calls I have received it should be
an active sale. Lets all pray for good weather.
Dates that are coming up are January 30, 2016 is our Winter Wonderland Dance with Cahlua & Cream
as our live entertainment. The dinner menu is Prime Rib with all the trimmings for $45.00 per person. Tickets
will be on sale at the meeting.

November has proven to be a month of mixed emotions: We had a wonderful dinner cruise on the Marco
princess which raised $1831 to be used for our Veterans programs. We Have 112 people on board and all enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a wonderful dinner. Thank you to all who made this a wonderful and successful event.
We were quit saddled by the death of Sir Knight Anthony LaPaglia .Please keep lady Bernadette in your thoughts and
prayers.
