Spring Fling & Whites Sale
New Releases
Our new releases for Spring Fling are the 2014
Riesling, 2015 Estate Rosé, True White Lot 4,
2012 Lodi Malbec, 2012 Petite Sirah, and 2011
Tourvanillo. The Riesling is fruity and off-dry
at about 2% residual sugar, which is lower than
the 2.5% residual sugar of our previous vintages.
Our Estate Dry Rosé is a GSM blend made from
60% Grenache, 22% Syrah, and 18% Mourvedre.
We bottled only 46 cases of this delicious wine.
Our True White blend has proved quite
successful, so we increased production to over
400 cases. It is a blend of 38% Verdelho, 25%
Riesling, 24% Chardonnay, and 13% Semillon,
all from the 2015 vintage. Tourvanillo is our
proprietary blend of Iberian varieties, 42%
Tempranillo, 29% Touriga Nacional, 15%
Graciano, 11% Alvarelhão, 2% Syrah, and 1%
Malbec. This will be our last vintage of this wine.
Previously the Tourvanillo and Lodi Malbec had
been sold only to members of our wine club –
the Fanatics.
Depletions & Low Inventory
We are out of the 2013 Riesling, True White Lot 3,

40th Anniversary ─ True Red Lot 30
My wife, Fran, and I started Fenestra Winery in
1976, and there were only five wineries in the
Livermore Valley at that time; now there are
over 60. We will be having a special event on
August 27 & 28 to celebrate this anniversary
We have bottled True Red Lot 30 with a new,
re-designed label that looks like a symbol for
a chemical element in the Periodic Table, and
we will officially release it at our Anniversary
Celebration.

GOLD MEDAL, $40.00/ 375ml/btl It’s looking like another early harvest this year and
beginning to feel like the new norm here in the Livermore
Valley. The estate vineyards came out of dormancy earlier
than last year and are growing with great vigor. The
immature grape clusters are about to go through flowering
and fruit set in the next few weeks and will determine our
yields. Spring has also brought us a new cellar hand, Clark
Straub, who brings a little bit of experience and youth to
the winery. In other news, the much anticipated True Red
Lot 30 has been bottled and will be released soon. There
are some elemental changes with Lot 30 so stay tuned!
