A world of difference Student Activities 05 Curriculum A world of difference Introduction Overview The 21st century has begun as an era of interaction between countries, cultures and religions. Political decisions, economic events, and social and environmental issues all extend more broadly than at any time in human history. Today we are all global citizens. Students must complete a total of 136 credits, of which 60 must be from their major and 80 from electives. The curriculum at Linton Global College has been designed to provide students with insights and connections to function well in this globalized world. A world of difference Daejeon Metropolitan City is geographically located in the same latitude as Athens, Lisbon, and San Francisco. Daejeon is the fifth largest city among South Korea’s top six cities with a population of 1.5 million. The city is located in the center of South Korea and is a prominent Linton Global College _Hannam University junction for major railways and turnpikes allowing people easy access to any part of Korea. If you want to get away, Daejeon is less than an hour by train from Seoul, the cosmopolitan capital of South Korea, close enough to go for the day or for an evening. The city is also the home of the world-famous Daedeok Valley, a science and technology research complex, which is quickly becoming recognized as a hotbed of creativity and technological accomplishment for South Korea. It offers rich resources for the student who wishes to look into Korea’s economic and technological development.
