Founded in 1947, the family-owned company, specialized in the
manufacture of precision planters and cultivators, continues to develop.
For MONOSEM, family-owned company with 65 years of
experience in precision planting, customer satisfaction is a
priority. In order to continue its growth, while still providing
more service to customers, the company has expanded
its human and industrial resources. Doubling the number
of employees over the past 5 years is an example; the
expansion of its production area is another.
But customer satisfaction also depends on the quality of
the products. This slogan, MONOSEM has been applying it
since the company was founded and is committed today
to obtaining the ISO QSE (Quality - Safety - Environment)
qualification.
Resolutely turned towards export, the company also continues its international expansion and has recently opened a
sales subsidiary in Russia. This new branch adds to the one already existing in the United States in Kansas City where
MONOSEM Inc. develops and assembles MONOSEM planters for the North American market.
Present today in more than 80 countries, the international coverage of MONOSEM allows the company to be attentive
to all its customers and also allows it to develop new models adapted to the specificities of each country. Experience
obtained around the world by MONOSEM is put to good use in all countries. It is thanks to this international presence that

NEW MONOSHOX® NG PLUS M METERING U
The result of several years of development and testing on hundreds of planters in many countries, MONOSEM
launches today the new Monoshox® NG Plus M metering unit.
In order to meet with farmers new expectations, this new unit is:
- Faster due to its Monoshox®.EU suspension with shock absorber,
- More accurate, no matter what the type of seed with the easily removed tip,
- Easier adjustment with its parallelogram that can be rapidly adjusted
in pressure and its new rear unit with adjusting levers.

Monoshox®.EU Suspension with shock absorber
Increasing the planting speed should not be done to the
detriment of the planting quality. It was from this perspective
that MONOSEM developed a range of planter units equipped
with a Monoshox® suspension with shock absorber.
In order to retain high quality planting at higher speeds
(spacing, depth regularity and seed pressing), just increasing
the pressure on the soil is not enough. This is why MONOSEM
has developed a real suspension for metering units: the
Monoshox®.EU. Like all good suspensions, it combines
pressure springs with a shock absorber specially designed for using on a planting unit.

Thus, when working the two pressure springs retain the planting unit on the ground and the suspension
with shock absorber absorbs the shocks. The precision and the regularity of the planting depth remain
optimal. Result: a higher working speed with the MONOSEM planting quality.

Wide parallelogram with quick adjusting of the pressure
The new parallelogram for the Monoshox® NG Plus M metering units is equipped with two
adjustable pressure springs to rapidly suit the planting conditions. These two springs offer
more pressure, retaining the planting unit on the ground and thus guaranteeing a greater stability
of the unit.
The pressure exerted by the springs can easily be adjusted and this without using tools.
This new, reinforced parallelogram has pins mounted on bushings and is also wider which
improves the unit stability.

The right hand lever (a) enables a rapid and accurate adjustment of the rear press wheel

The patented quick-change system of the tip means you keep a tip forming a true V-shaped furrow and is match
up quickly with different planting conditions.

On the traditional planters with discs and on those that are equipped with them, the tip is only accessible by
removing the discs and the gauges wheels. With the quick-change patented tip, no tools are needed. A lever
placed betwen the discs free the tip. It is put back in place just as easily and in a sure manner by re-engaging it into
its fixing bracket.
The tip forms a true V-shaped furrow for accurate seed placement at a regular depth, no matter what the
planting depth or the type of seed (Maize, Beet, Rapeseed, Sunflower, Beans, Peanuts…..).
Two models of tips are available:
• The long tip for «normal» conditions.
• The long tip, short wings for planting at shallow depths and/or in dry conditions.

NEW PLANTERS WITH SPECIAL INTER ROW S
The increased trend for crop planting with a precision planter, such as rapeseed, the development of rotation
planting in certain regions and the increase in tractor and harvester power leads farmers to think about
developing crop space and in particular the row spacings.
In permanent contact with the end-users, MONOSEM meets with these new requirements by developing two
complimentary solutions, each one suited to the needs of each farmer:
• Planting with odd number of rows with reduced inter row spacing (60 cm)
• Planting with Twin-Row Sync-Row®
PLANTERS WITH AN ODD NUMBER OF ROWS AND WITH REDUCED INTER ROW SPACING (60 CM)
For the farmers accepting to adapt their harvesting machines and in
certain cases the tractor treads, the choice of planters with an odd number
of rows with a reduced inter row spacing is a solution that will enable
them to plant several crops (Maize, Sunflower, Rapeseed, Sorghum ...)
with exactly the same planter with an inter row spacing of 60 cm.
Used for more crops, the planter offers an increased profitability.
In order to meet with this demand, MONOSEM has designed a new range
of 7, 9, 11 and 13-row planters with inter row spacings of 60 cm. The
7-row model is designed on the basis of a single or double Monoblock2
Comfort telescopic frame. The 9 and 11-row models are based on the
double bar folding frames, whilst the 13-row model has a folding CRT
frame.

TWIN-ROW SYNC-ROW® PLANTERS
The Twin-Row Sync-Row® concept offered by MONOSEM is a solution
which enables a better positionning of the plants thus optimizing
yields, in particular for maize, without investing in new harvesting
equipment, or changing tractor or harvester treads.
The versatility of the NG Plus meting unit means that the
Twin-Row Sync-Row® planters can be used for other crops such as
soya, sunflower or rapeseed.

NEW 6-ROW FERTILIZER ATTACHMENT ON MIXED 6/7-ROW EXTEND PLANTER
Launched 2 years ago and acclaimed by many farmers in Europe, the mixed
6/7-row NG Plus Extend planter can now be fitted out with a fertilizer
attachment when in the 6-row configuration.
This equipment meets with demands from farmers requiring fertilizer when
planting in a 6-row configuration at 75 or 80 cm, mainly in maize. When
used in the 7-row confirguration at 55 or 60 cm, in sunflower or rapeseed, the
fertilizer attachment is not used.
The high capacity 1020-litre fertilizer hopper has a drive via FertiDriveVM
transmission for easy and rapid adjusting of quantities. A platform with step
gives easy access to the hopper when loading. The trapdoors on each side of
the hopper enable rapid and clean emptying.
The fertilizer delivery is ensured by double discs that can be adjusted in height.
The transport of the fertilizer to the 4 outer rows is pneumatic and guarantees
a regular distribution of the fertilizer even in hilly conditions.

NEW HIGH CAPACITY FERTILIZER ATTACHMENT FOR 4-ROW PLANTER
The 4-row NG Plus and NC planters are now available with a High Capacity
980-litre fertilizer hopper.
With a capacity of two and a half times higher than the standard fertilizers,
this new model ensures a larger autonomy. Loading big bags or loose fertilizer
with a loader is made easier due to the wide opening. The trapdoors on each
side of the hopper enable a quick and clean emptying.
The drive is equipped with a system enabling the declutching of the fertilizer
when not required. The fertilizer is applied using double discs that can be
adjusted in height.
5-row Monoblock NG Plus 4 planter
Option: 980-litre fertilizer with discs
The 4-row planters with 980-litre fertilizer attachments are equipped with
a sturdy, mechanically welded Monoblock frame which has been widely
proven on the 6-row telescopic planters for several years now. This assembly

For use on soils with a low bearing capacity, these planters can be equipped,
on option, with wide 26x12 wheels in replacement of the standard wheels.

MICRODRIVEVM ON DOUBLE BAR FOLDING FRAME
The microgranulators on planters with double bar folding frames are now
available on option with MicroDriveVM variable transmission
The drive by MicroDriveVM variable transmission of the Microsem enables an
easy, rapid and accurate adjustment of the dose to be applied. This equipment
is particularly interesting for contractors who regularly need to adjust
according to the products, the customers and the fields.
The MicroDriveVM drive is available, on option, on the double bar folding
frames with configuration:
• 8 rows maize at 75 cm inter row spacing
• 12 rows sugar beet at 45 or 50 cm inter row spacing

CS 6200-24 MONITOR WITH ROW CUT-OFF SYSTEM BY GPS
Economies in seeds, working comfort…. These are the main advantages of
the new CS 6200-24 seed monitor with row cut-off system by GPS.
This new terminal integrates different applications that can be activated
individually by buying the corresponding licenses.
The SECTION-Control option enables the automatic row cut-off by GPS at
the end and on the sides of the fields on the CS 6200-24 terminal which
avoids unnecessary overlapping. It also economizes seeds and avoids plant
competition, unfavourable to good yields.
With HEADLAND-Control management, which is included in the
SECTION-Control, the field edges can be worked either at the beginning or at
the end of the planting operation.
The CS 6200-24 terminal, with the GPS row cut-off option, is also equipped
with the guiding bar on the TRACK-Leader terminal which can be used for
other operations. An external LED guiding bar can be added on option which
further improves the ergonomics.
The CS 6200-24 terminal can, on option, also be ISOBUS-UT. It is then possible
to control other compatible tools with the ISO 11783 standard with the same
terminal.

MONOSEM proposes a new website with an easier navigation. Based on the «Responsive
Web Design», this new website automatically adapts itself to the different sizes of screens
(Computer, Tablet, Smartphone) and retains a pratical and fluid navigation no matter the
medium used.
This new website has been improved with in particular a download section where users can
find all the machine manuals, photos or video clips of MONOSEM machines and download the
new application for the adjustments of your precision planter.
A SMARTPHONE APPLICATION FOR ADJUSTING PLANTERS
In order to help you with the adjustment of our precision planters, MONOSEM proposes
a free application to be downloaded on your Smartphone / Android tablet which will
enable you to know exactly the adjustment needed on the seed spacing gearbox to the
match the desired seed population.
Once the adjustment made and the technical features of your planter entered (gearbox
model, inter row spacing and number of holes on the discs), you just have to indicate
the required seed population to know the ratio of the gearbox that is best suited. All
this data is kept in memory for future use.
