The metering unit is the heart of the
Monosem planter. It is constructed of
cast brass, stainless steel and

planter is available in five versions to

Punch Plastic Planter is our
very own, patented technology.
This machine is designed and
manufactured right here at our
facilities in Sumner, Georgia.
The Drum Punch uses the latest
technology in manufacturing to
insure accurate seed placement
and utilizes the Monosem seed
metering unit, which is the most
accurate unit on the market. It
singulates all seed for precise
populations. The seed is ejected
just above the seed chute which
carries the seed to the punch for
ideal placement in the soil. The water
system delivers water directly onto
the seed at planting to insure even
germination.

Lift N’ Til
the versatile
tillage system
The Lift N’ Til Tillage System is the
answer to many of today’s challenges
with soil preparation. A tillage tool
should be easily adaptable from
conventional practices to conservation
tillage and from zone tillage to total
loosening. The Lift N’ Til was designed
around these principles.
• 16” X 16” rubber tire gang
• Adjustable spring load
• Used in minimum tillage
applications to form a firm,
flat topped bed
• Spring loaded crumbler basket
and leveling board
• Forms pulverized raised seed
beds in conventional tillage.
• Produces seed beds that are

While the tillage environment may
change, the sound principles of a
complete tillage tool do not. A tillage
tool should provide aggressive root zone
tillage resulting in a firm, uniform seed
bed – all attributes of the
Lift N’ Til Tillage System. This system

few components, not the entire machine.

row cultivator is designed to
cultivate multiple close rows with
a minimum of soil movement.
The wavy coulter slices through
debris and crusted soil to
eliminate dragging on the
sweeps. The adjustable pitch on
the flat sweep maximizes soil
shatter and weed elimination.
Track feet with wedger wings
re-establish the edge of the
planted bed to help guide the
cultivator. Options such as rolling
dirt shields and spray tips for
herbicide or fertilizer complete
this one of a kind cultivator.

Drip Tape Layer

The S&S Marketing Ripper-Roller Tape
Layer works in a wide variety of soil
types and conditions. Accurate tape
placement ranges from 2” - 6” within
a formed, flat top bed. This implement
can be used less the ripper shank to rebed over existing tape for multiple crop
and multiple planting methods, such as
twin row or single row.

The S&S Marketing Parallel Linkage
Tape Layer consistently controls the
depth of the tape in a range of 1”-4”.
The spring loaded swivel coulter cuts
debris, thus eliminating wrapping on
the ripper shank. The ripper shank and
tape tube are adjustable to easily and
accurately change depths. The 4”x12”
firming wheel holds the tape while the
double 4”x12” wheels cover the tape.
