Fore strip every teat

Pre-dip if required

Ensure excellent cow comfort, bed well, clip
excessive udder hair, use water sparingly
and clean teats thoroughly with individual
medicated towels.
Check carefully for mastitis while massaging
each teat for optimum oxytocin release.
Reduce numbers of environmental bacteria
with a fast acting pre-milk teat dip.
5 Position clusters carefully
Avoid twists and uneven milk-out and work
such that clusters go on 90 seconds after
start of fore milking.
6 Remove clusters carefully soon
after milk stops flowing
Avoid liner slip as milking slows and remove
teat cups after shutting off vacuum.
7 Dip teats immediately after
cluster removal
After cluster removal promptly apply a good
quality dip over the lower third of each teat.
Dry teats thoroughly
Use a disposable paper towel for each cow
for thorough and efficient drying.
8 Use a loafing area after milking
Ensure cows remain standing for 20 minutes
after milking by providing fresh feed after
they leave.

Triangular liner / Shell combination
The Milk-Rite Impulse milking assembly offers
producers the chance to enhance milking performance
compared with traditional liner/shell combinations,
improving both the milking action and cow comfort.
This unique milking assembly features and impact
resistant shell with a triangular shaped interior. This
is combined with an anti-twist interlocking triangular
shaped liner.

How it works
The triangular interior reduces the total air volume
between the shell and the liner. This leads to a more
responsive opening and closing of the liner, which
optimizes the milk and the rest phases of pulsation.
