need. Our youth spend a week with Housing Oriented Ministries
Established for Service (H.O.M.E.S., Inc) in Neon, Kentucky, painting,
renovating, landscaping, roofing, hauling, building for some of the most
disadvantaged people in our country. This week of service is the

2 2008 Knight’s Bridge, Knight’s Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon (Double Magnum)
Knight’s Valley is a small, micro appellation just north of Napa Valley on the way
west to Alexander and Sonoma Valleys. Some wine experts believe that it is in
Knight’s Valley that the finest growing conditions for producing California’s greatest
Cabernet Sauvignon exist. But it is a very small region that is not that well known.
Knight’s Valley wineries such as Peter Michael are renowned for producing great
cabernet and achieving international acclaim. Knight’s Bridge Winery is a relatively
new winery in Knight’s Valley that was developed by a group of Massachusetts
businessmen and top California winemakers. The results have been amazing. The
cabernets of Knight’s Bridge Winery rival the best of Napa and this winery is sure to
develop its reputation further in coming vintages.

7 Cabernet & Chardonnay Combo Pack (Lot 1 of 9 bottles each)
6 Bottles Louis Martini Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Consistently one of the great values in Cabernet from Northern California is Louis
Martini’s Sonoma County Cabernet. This is a blend of 85% Cabernet and the rest
Merlot, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. The wine is dark ruby/purple and
displays delicious black and red currant fruit with some underlying soil and
underbrush nuances. Savory, fruity, rich and supple, and just a delicious, medium to
full bodied mouthful of Cabernet. Rated 89 points by the Wine Advocate.
3 Bottles Gallo Signature Russian River Chardonnay
For her signature white varietal, Gina Gallo chose Laguna Ranch Vineyard in the
Russian River Valley. When Laguna Ranch was an apple orchard, Gina’s grandfather
Julio Gallo, used to pick apples for his wife’s legendary apple pies. He later purchased
the property and transformed it into a Chardonnay Vineyard. This wine is a true
expression of the Russian River Valley that opens with aromas of sweet vanilla and
freshly baked bread. This wine has delightfully bright flavors of crisp apple, lemon
meringue and ginger on the palate.

11 Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 1.5l (magnum)
This Napa Valley Cabernet exemplifies the elegant success that resulted from the
cooler 2011 vintage. As James Suckling says “This is a Cabernet with real tension
and lively energy to it, Extremely well done.” The Wine Enthusiast magazine rated it
90 points saying it is a Cab that is earthy and lean on entry, before developing in the
glass into juicy dark cherry and leathery notes. Smooth, integrated oak and tannin
leave an impression in terms of texture, with a persistence of tannin on the finish.

15 Oral-B Precision 5000
Dr. Puschak has donated his favorite electric toothbrush for the
highest bidder. This newly designed Oral-B Precision 5000 is a
professional model that he recommends for all of his patients
to use.
Everyone has some sort of a tooth brush and most of us use it
to prevent cavities and gum disease, not to mention control bad
breath. But when it comes to flossing he says it is disturbing to
know that only 51% of the population actually floss their teeth
and that only a whopping 12% of us floss on a daily basis.
This might seem shocking but is true. Are you feeling guilty
now??? This is why Dr. Puschak feels it is most likely that we
all could easily improve our oral health by brushing more
efficiently by using a high quality electric toothbrush while
flossing on the other hand is, well good luck with that one.
Therefore, he has donated one of his prized brushes for the
auction block.

18 Dry Creek Vineyard Sailors Cuvee 2012 (1.5l Magnum)
This is an exciting blend for a number of reasons. First and foremost, the Cabernet
Franc is the first vintage from our newly planted DCV6 estate vineyard located just
yards from the winery. This Loire Valley clone of Cabernet Franc is particularly
impressive and the 2012 vintage yielded grapes that were beautifully ripe and well
structured. This unique blend carries an uncommon depth and richness with toasted
blueberry elements from the Cabernet Franc shining through. The Malbec provides a
smoky undercurrent while the Petit Verdot offers layers of pepper and allspice. It’s a
delicious wine and one that we think has the aging potential of 20 years and beyond.

21 Rodney Strong Alexander Valley Cabernet 2012 3.0l
(Double Magnum)
A powerful Cabernet from the hillsides of the Alexander Valley: Lush dark berries
and ripe plums dominate the glass, while hints of cassis and cocoa play in the
background. The firm mature tannins give this wine a strong backbone, while the
17 months of barrel aging have softened this bold wine just enough to enjoy
now. Rated 89 points by The Wine Advocate, Robert Parker says this Medium to
full bodied Cabernet is approachable, but should hit its peak in 3-4 years and last
15 yrs or more.

25 Alexander Valley Estate Merlot 2007 (1.5l Magnum)
Anyone who thinks Merlot is a lightweight has never tried this one. The 2007 is a wellstructured wine with the kind of characteristics often ascribed to Cabernet. Those
characteristics are the result of the unique qualities of the five vineyards on the valley's
southern end that provided the fruit for 2007. The heavier soils in each of the vineyard
sites allowed the fruit to ripen slowly and develop a wide range of flavors. What you
will find here is a lush Merlot with aromas of black cherry, plum, blackberry and cassis.
In the glass are big flavors of plum, vanilla and dark cherry. On those occasions when
you are about to reach for a Cab to serve with a particular dish, try this Merlot. You'll be
surprised how good a partner it is.

33 Cabernet & Chardonnay Combo Pack (Lot 2 of 9 bottles each)
6 Bottles Louis Martini Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Consistently one of the great values in Cabernet from Northern
California is Louis Martini’s Sonoma County Cabernet. This is a
blend of 85% Cabernet and the rest Merlot, Petite Sirah, Cabernet
Franc, and Malbec. The wine is dark ruby/purple and displays
delicious black and red currant fruit with some underlying soil and
underbrush nuances. Savory, fruity, rich and supple and just a
delicious, medium to full-bodied mouthful of Cabernet. Rated 89
points by the Wine Advocate.
3 Bottles Gallo Signature Russian River Chardonnay
For her signature white varietal, Gina Gallo chose Laguna Ranch Vineyard in the
Russian River Valley. When Laguna Ranch was an apple orchard, Gina’s
grandfather Julio Gallo, used to pick apples for his wife’s legendary apple pies. He
later purchased the property and transformed it into a Chardonnay Vineyard. This
wine is a true expression of the Russian River Valley that opens with aromas of
sweet vanilla and freshly baked bread. This wine has delightfully bright flavors of
crisp apple, lemon meringue and ginger on the palate.
