GENERAL INFORMATION
Registration Information
Classes are open to Kaiser
Permanente members, and some
classes are open to the community.
Classes are filled on a first-come,
first-served basis. For information
or to register, call the number listed
underneath the course description.
A session is defined as the number
of classes a participant should attend
to get the most value from the
educational experience. The number
of sessions does not imply a limit
to the number of classes a Kaiser
Permanente member may attend.
Fees and Refund Policy
Class fees vary depending on the
class and your health plan coverage.*
See class listings for fee information,
if applicable. The fee refund policy
may vary depending on the class and
sponsoring department.
Call the phone number listed for the
specific class for more information.
Generally, our refund policies are as
follows:
• Most
class fees are nonrefundable.
On the rare occasions that we must
cancel or reschedule a class, we will
gladly refund your fees or transfer
you to another class.
• If
you cannot attend a class, we ask
that you call at least two business
days before the first class to transfer
to another date or class. Fees
can only be transferred within six
months of the originally scheduled
class.
• No
refunds are given after the
second session of a multiple-session
class.
*Program fees listed are subject to change
and may depend on your health plan
coverage. Please refer to your current
Evidence of Coverage to confirm the services
covered under your plan.
Stay on track with preventive health reminders
Are you due for a mammogram, Pap test, colorectal screening, or flu shot? You’ll
find out what you’re due for and how to schedule an appointment with your
personalized, online Preventive Health Reminders. Look for this feature on your
doctor’s home page at kp.org/mydoctor.

Grief and Bereavement
Support Groups
Awareness Through Movement:
The Feldenkrais Method
Grief can feel very lonely, even when
you have loved ones around. When
someone close to you dies, the most
important factor in healing from loss
is having the support of other people.
Even if you are not comfortable
talking about your feelings under
normal circumstances, it’s important
to express them when you’re grieving,
and this can make the burden of grief
easier to carry. These groups offer
support, and allow you to connect
to others. You do not need to grieve
alone. Open to the community.
Feldenkrais—a unique approach to
movement—is for anyone wishing to
move more comfortably and easily
as well as for those with chronic
muscle and joint conditions. This
class focuses on gentle movements,
flexibility, balance, and breathing
to ease pain and improve daily
functioning. Students must be able
to get down to and up from the
floor to take this class. Open to the
community.
No class fee.
