Defending Their Honor…The 2015 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season kicks off with the biggest
event of the season, the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The drivers of the No. 5 Action Express Racing Chevrolet Corvette
Daytona Prototype sponsored by Mustang Sampling return to not only defend their 2014 race win, but also
series and driver championships. On the strength of three wins, (Daytona International Speedway, Indianapolis
Motor Speedway and Road America) Action Express Racing captured both the TUDOR United SportsCar
Championship and Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup titles in addition to driver titles earned by João
Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi. Barbosa and Fittipaldi are once again behind the wheel, joined by Sébastien
Bourdais, in the hopes of earning Action Express Racing’s second-consecutive and third-career victory in the 24hour race.
Hear The Roar…The No. 5 hit the track for the first time in 2015 at the Roar Before The Rolex 24, a preseason test consisting of eight practice sessions held January 9-11 in preparation for this weekend’s event. The
trio of Barbosa, Fittipaldi and Bourdais laid down the fastest lap in the fifth, sixth and seventh practice sessions,
ultimately ranking second in the overall combined speeds.
Horsepower On Board…Action Express Racing will debut a new livery this weekend with the addition of
Mustang Sampling as a full-season sponsor of the No. 5 Corvette DP team. Mustang Sampling is a diverse

24-Hour Lineup…Action Express Racing has assembled a winning crew to handle driver duties for the No. 31 as the organization aims for
back-to-back victories in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Behind the wheel of the Whelen/Team Fox Corvette DP this weekend are Eric Curran, Dane
Cameron, Max Papis and Phil Keen. Curran made his GRAND-AM Sports Car Series debut in 2000 and has since captured three victories and nine
podium finishes. 26-year-old Cameron earned a GRAND-AM win in 2012 prior to a banner season in the TUDOR United SportsCar Series
Championship in 2014, when he made four trips to victory lane and took home the GT class championship. Road course expert Max Papis has a
diverse breadth of experience under his belt, most notably earning seven GRAND-AM wins since 2000, two of which (2000 and 2002) were in
the Rolex 24 at Daytona. British driver Keen will make his first start in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, entering the competition as the defending
Sunoco Whelen Challenge champion.
Lively Livery…Providing full-season support of the No. 31 machine are Whelen Engineering and Team Fox. Whelen Engineering currently
provides safety lighting for Police, Fire, EMS, and DOT professionals as well as many other industries, such as racetracks and race safety vehicles
