The goal of DEUTZ-FAHR is to supply farmers and contractors with state-of-the-art
agricultural machines that facilitate work and maximise productivity. The brand offers
a full line range with contemporary style, high levels of comfort, modern powerful
engines and forward thinking features.
Every champion has a story. And the DEUTZ-FAHR story dates back more than a
century. DEUTZ-FAHR has shown character and ambition for growth ever since
its foundation, and over the years, the company has played a leading role in the
evolution of agricultural mechanisation.
In 1927, it launched its first mass-produced tractor – the DEUTZ MTH 222 – and in
1936, unveiled the DEUTZ 11 Series, which brought agricultural mechanisation within
the reach of small farms for the first time. In the years that followed, DEUTZ-FAHR
kept up its drive for technological evolution, with a view to increasing the productivity
of farmers and the efficiency of its own machinery. In 1949, it introduced air-cooled
diesel engines on several models, and in 1962, unveiled the first hydraulic lift. In
1992, the company developed a new concept of visibility, with the first “clear view”
tractor, and in 1995, it launched the Agrotron series, which redefined the concept
of what an agricultural tractor should be, by incorporating a spacious, panoramic
cab and the market’s first suspended front axle. In 2001, DEUTZ-FAHR introduced a
game-changing technological innovation with the Agrotron TTV, its first tractor with
continuously variable transmission. The scope of DEUTZ-FAHR’s excellence has never
been confined only to tractors, and the company has a long and specialised history
in the manufacturing of harvesting machinery too. As far back as 1952, Deutz-Fahr
presented its first self-propelled combine harvester. In 1991 DEUTZ-FAHR introduced
its first Topliner and, in 1993 launched of the Powerpress 120 H, the world’s first selfpropelled high-density baler. 1997 then saw the launch of the Topliner 8XL, the first
combine harvester equipped with eight straw-walkers.
Many years have passed since the launch of the first mass-produced tractors, but even
today, the DEUTZ-FAHR name still fires the imagination of farmers all over the world.

sets new standards for operating convenience in the large tractor class. The
extensive range of standard equipment features practical details and advanced
technical equipment. Operations are so easy and efficient that every driver
quickly gets used to it intuitively and without lengthy instruction and can
therefore immediately get down to productive work. Advantages which are
particularly valued by contractors, for whom every minute is often critical. The
driver can program the functions of the Agrotron X to personal requirements
and use automatic functions to make his work easier and more economical,
leaving him free to concentrate on his work and not the operation of the tractor.

The five and six straw walker models in the 60 Series continue the tradition
of powerful and reliable DEUTZ-FAHR combine harvesters. The high-end
combine harvesters offer impressive power and standard equipment. Deutz
TCD L6 Tier4i engines ensure great performance and low fuel consumption
with power from 169 kW (230 HP) up to 290 kW (395 HP).
6040 DEUTZ-FAHR combine harvester other extraordinary levels of productivity
and comfort.Harvesting that protects the grain and is productive for crops of all
types is also no problem for the 6040 and 6040 HTS. The powerful high
capacity threshing unit and 5-straw walkers, provide a high flow rate. With
cutting unit widths of up to 6.30 m and the new 6.1 litre Deutz Tier4i engine
with 169 kW (230 HP), these are the ideal combine harvesters for farms and
contractors who need unparalleled performance with all types of crop with
impressively low runnings costs; excellent results in terms of grain cleaning and

Perfect adaptation to the land, a smooth cut, convenient operation and
reliability have made DEUTZ-FAHR drum mowers the most successful
products on the market. As a genuine trusty workhorse with a convincing

terms, a guarantee of a quality forage harvest.
Always an even number of counter-rotating mowing disks for a clear crop
flow, a particularly flat cutter bar with spur drive in addition to the unique
kinematics for perfect adaptation to the ground: DiscMaster mower
conditioners fulfil the highest demands for technology and performance.
The processing quality remains first-class even with crop which is damp or
lies on the ground. Three blades per mowing disk are unique in the market.
DEUTZ-FAHR offers a complete range of products for any crop harvesting
chain with the CondiMaster. You can choose from eleven different types
with working widths of between 4.60 m and 14.00 m with four to ten rotors.
The SwatMaster high-performance rotary swathing machine is characterised
by convincing technology, gentle processing of the valuable crop in addition
to outstanding operating comfort. The product range extends from the
compact single rotary swather to the large quadruple machine. Aside
from output per unit area performance the unmistakable features of the
SwatMaster series also include perfect adjustment to the ground, top raking
quality and setting down in precisely formed swathes.
The increasing trend towards round bale silage in addition to the increasing
utilization resulted in a completely new construction of the silage baler at
DEUTZ-FAHR: with an increased compression density, a higher bale volume,
more throughput, more stability and even more convenience. All this means
1A feed quality with the lowest costs per bale.
DEUTZ-FAHR once again meets the challenge by providing contractors,
machinery rings and farmers with state of the art technology. The uniform
bale density, a bale diameter according to requirements, maximum throughput
and first-rate operating comfort make the reliable DEUTZ-FAHR balers the
tools of choice for professionals. Shown in the illustration is the press/wrap
combination which combines two operations in one. To save you time.
Uncompromising technology designed to meet the needs of large farms and
contractors: these big balers from DEUTZ-FAHR are the customer’s first choice
for top quality rock-hard bales and maximum output. Perfectly shaped bales
allow economical transport and efficient storage. The POWER DENSITY prechamber filling system guarantees a well-shaped bale formation regardless of
the condition of the windrow. Knives can be changed easily thanks to the knife
cassette system which can be pulled out at the side of the machine.
A complete range with high load capacities from DEUTZ-FAHR. The range
covers load volumes of 22 to 44 m3 and meets the highest requirements in
terms of power, cutting quality and performance. Being particularly good
value for money it is a commercially attractive solution for all grassland
farmers. New in the range: the RotoMaster rotor loader with a loading
volume of 55 m3 and a payload of 20 t, to round off the range at the top end.
