Men and Women in Radio Ceremony
Honoring Men & Women in Radio Radio Honoree Ceremony A Black and White Affair 4.24.2014 Red Carpet Welcome When I first had the idea to start Radio Week, it was just that, simply an idea and a vision to honor the men and women who serve and inform us on the airwaves daily. What I could not have imagined was the tremendous support and encouragement I have received from colleagues, political representatives, businesses, and the individuals who all made this possible. I am humbled by the experience and so happy Georgia now has an official Radio Week, to be commences the fourth week of every April! Let’s look to the Honorees tonight and all of their fellow personalities and support staff for making this recognition possible. Congressman Scott said it best, “…you bring to the listening audience music, weather, news and commentary, you enlighten and encourage debate on issues that affect us all. This is a great responsibility and should never be taken lightly.” Thank you all for your support. Enjoy the evening. Dee Hill Founder of Radio Week 6:00 P.M. | 7:00 P.M.
