ERATH COUNTY 4-H NEWS FEBRUARY 2013 YOU RAISED $1874! ERATH CO. STAFF Megan Logan CEA - 4-H [email protected] Donna White CEA - Family & Consumer Sciences [email protected] Whit H. Weems CEA - Ag & Natural Resources [email protected] JoDitt Williams Office Manager [email protected] Erath County Office 112 W College Suite 109 Stephenville, TX 76401 254-965-1460 [email protected] erath.agrilife.org This year was a great year for both Youth Fair entries, and for the Youth Fair Auction and Raffle. We rocked with 120 Youth Fair entries! We are proud to annouce that this year the two events raised a total of $1874! That means that Erath County United Way and Erath County Humane Society will receive much needed funds for their endeavors. Remember, if it was not for United Way sponsoring our local 4-H program, 4-Hers would have to spend a lot more time fundraising throughout the year. There would also be no funds available to pay team entry fees and assist with costs for Roundup and other activities. Thank you to all the 4-Hers who put their Youth Fair items in the Silent Auction. Also, thank you to all the clubs for making such unique and creative baskets for the raffle. All of you did a great job, making this year a big success! facebook.com/Erath4H INSIDE THIS ISSUE: 4-H is a United Way Funded Organization County Show Results - pg 2-4 Kids, Kows & More - pg 5 Livestock & Mohair Judging - pg 5 Question of the Month - pg 5 Youth Fair Results - pg 6-7 FCS Project Update - pg 8 4-H Round-Up - pg 9 Events Schedule - pg 10 Feb.
