beyond money Oc to b e r 2014 2015 Wildfire Credit Union Annual Meeting Brings Exciting New Changes In 2015, we will be changing the format of our Wildfire Annual Meetings. Instead of two meetings, we will have one luncheon meeting on Saturday, February 28th. Below are some of the details: 2015 Wildfire Credit Union Annual Meeting Saturday, February 28, 2015 Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw Noon Luncheon Business Meeting Prizes and Entertainment Why are we changing to one meeting? Over the past several years, more and more of our members have been favoring our luncheon meeting. With the luncheon numbers increasing, space to accommodate everyone in Frankenmuth was challenging. As we all know, February and March can be unpredictable weather months, and we hope holding the annual meeting during the day will make attending easier. Horizons Conference Center can easily accommodate our larger group, as well as have room for the great entertainment we have lined up. We will have more details in the newsletter coming out the beginning of January and an invitation will be mailed to all our members as the time for the meeting approaches. Can you believe it?! Wildfire has saved our members over $370,000 in loan interest so far this year. In August, Steven paid off his high interest credit cards by refinancing with Wildfire, and when he found out he could use an auto to secure the loan, his new loan rate went even lower. He will be saving thousands over the life of his loan. Gail refinanced her fifth wheel trailer with Wildfire and saved over $2,600. Leslie saved $6,400 by refinancing her car….. and the savings continue. If you’ve been thinking about refinancing your home, auto, or toys from another institution to Wildfire, or you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new home, auto, or toy; don’t wait too long. Time is running out on our “Move Your Loan” opportunity. November 30, 2014 will be here before you know it. HalloWeekends at Cedar Point Summer might be over, but Cedar Point’s annual HalloWeekends event has begun. Cedar Point will be open Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays thru November 1, 2014.
