Pride Prowl was also a great success thanks to all of the
fabulous participation. A special thanks goes out to all of our
students, teachers and parents for a wonderful book
character parade. We celebrated such great authors and the
well-known book characters.

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER:
During early morning arrival, children who are transported to
school as car-riders each morning are reminded to wear their
seatbelts. Please make sure that your children are buckled-in
at all times. Additionally, students may not be dropped-off
before 7:30 a.m. Early morning cub care is available from
6:30-7:30 for a weekly $10 fee. To register, contact
Sharon Day, Cub Care Coordinator, at 558-5400.
Our Veteran’s Day program is scheduled for Friday,
November 9, at 8:30 a.m., on the covered court. All parents,
community members and veterans are welcome to attend.
We take this time to thank our veterans for their sacrifices in
serving our great country.

Our fall conferences ran very smoothly! Thank you to all of
our teachers and parents for your attendance. It couldn’t be a
success without your dedication.

To all parents, students and faculty member I wish you the
very best Thanksgiving. This is always a wonderful time to
reflect on all of the things that are important to us. Enjoy
time well spent with family and friends.
Parents, please follow the school calendar when scheduling
vacations. I am unable to excuse absences during the school
year. It adversely affects the students, teachers and Pride.

Recycle Ink Cartridges
Please help Pride do it’s part to reduce the waste.
By recycling your cartridges not only are we helping
the environment, but proceeds from the donated
cartridges go directly back to the school.
Recycling is quick and easy. Just drop off your ink
and toner cartridges in the large brown basket
located directly across fromthe guidance office and
we’ll take care of the rest.
Looking for Homework and Testing Help?
The district has announced that all families
with children attending school in
Hillsborough County have the ability to get an
ID and password on a resource site that can be
used for homework and test prep. The link is:

We met and surpassed our Fall Fundraiser goal for a total of
$10,865!!
What does the PTA do with this money?
Fund the salary of our full-time technology Aide, Mrs. Ramos.
Provide $100 teacher fund to each teacher.
Provide Florida Studies Weekly for the entire 4th grade.
Provide Music, Art, PE and AGP programs with $1000 each.
Purchase PECS Communication System Materials to aid children with special needs.
Helped fund a class set of E-Readers.
Fund the school-wide WI-FI at Pride.
Provide butterfly habitats for 2nd grade.
Provide Angel Tree donations.
And much, much more!
