Rowdy Edition Camry by NASCAR’s Kyle Busch ToyotaRacingDreamBuild.com Build Shop: Detroit Speed, Inc. in Mooresville, North Carolina Charity: Kyle Busch Foundation Driver Bio: First coming onto the scene at the age of 13, Busch was 16 when he took the wheel in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In 2005, he won Rookie of the Year with 2 wins and a 20th point place finish and has since gone on to build a storied career with many highlights and milestones. By the age of 25, he had won 16 races, setting the record for any driver of that age. He is the only driver to win all three of NASCAR’s top three touring series in one weekend, which he accomplished at Bristol in 2010 (Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck). Kyle drives the #18 M&M’s Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Sprint Cup Series. He is also the owner and namesake of Kyle Busch Motorsports which owns the #54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry in the Nationwide Series, and the No. 18 and No. 54 trucks in the Camping World Truck Series. Dream Build Inspiration: Kyle Busch’s theme for this contest is a road-race- ready “Rowdy” Toyota Camry. Retaining all the functionality of the production car, his team is adding some generous muscle and ground effects for just the right amount of punch to push him over the top. Crew Chief Shawn Hughesman and his team at Detroit Speed are taking the street car and adding body, interior and suspension changes to make this dream Camry a reality.
