A WELL RESPECTED BUILDER
MALIBU (Malibu Investments Inc.) is a Toronto based
development company with major residential high-rise
condominiums throughout the GTA representing over
3,500 residential suites delivered or currently under
construction. Malibu has set the highest standards of
quality for all its developments; infusing smart urban
design with today’s lifestyle demands.
Among these delivered projects is Malibu at Harbourfront,
a 32 storey building located at Bathurst and Lakeshore,
just south of LTD, a 15 storey boutique building. Phase
1 and 2 of Boutique Condominiums comprises of a 15
storey and 35 storey development in the downtown
core of Toronto next to the Shangri-La Hotel, 18 Yonge
is a 39 storey tower located at Yonge and Lakeshore
next to the Air Canada Centre. St. Andrew on the Green
is a luxury 9 storey building overlooking the Islington
Golf Course in Etobicoke.
Recent projects under construction include Tableau
Condominiums, an impressive 36 storey building in the
heart of the Fashion and Entertainment district at
Richmond and Peter and nearing completion early 2016.
And Smart House, a 25 storey mixed use building at
Queen and University with residential, office and retail
space that introduced micro-condo living to Toronto.
Gramercy Park, Malibu’s first project in North York is a
beautifully designed building surrounding a half acre
private park at 525 Wilson Avenue. Next to the Wilson
Subway Station, close to shops and restaurants, Yorkdale
Mall and major intersections such as the 401 and Allen
Road makes the location of Gramercy Park unbeatable.
Southside is the exciting next phase of this successful
development. Located just south of the completed
and occupied Gramercy Park building, Southside is
architecturally compatible in design and scale and also
has its own private park, unique suite designs, reimagined
amenities and services including a rooftop pool.

growth and transformation
The Tippet/Wilson area is identified as one of 7 areas
in the GTA for “regeneration” and currently has already
undergone growth and transformation, but there is
more… currently there are several sites being reviewed
for development as part of the Regeneration Study and
neighbourhood change.
The direction of the Regeneration Plan for Tippet Road,
will create the following Neighbourhood Benefits and
Community Value, which will effectively increase the
desirability and livability of this neighbourhood:
> Focus on parks
> Pedestrians & Cycling Connections
> Pedestrian Tippet Promenade
> Ground Floor Retail Streetscape
The scope of the regeneration is massive and slated to
enhance and uplift the neighbourhood. This change will
allow for higher density and attract a new wave of housing
and employment. Government plans are to intensify the
area that is already used as a major transportation hub.
BUILD TORONTO - ACTION AND INITIATIVE
Along with the neighbourhood Regeneration Study and its
mandate to help improve the neighbourhood, Toronto’s very
own robust city-owned development corporation, BUILD
Toronto, is helping further improve the neighbourhood
and remain consistent with their mandate, “Agenda for
Prosperity”. Two neighbouring plots of land currently
held by BUILD Toronto: 75 Billy Bishop Way and 50 Wilson
Heights Blvd. are slated for change.

Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension - The six-station
underground subway extension from Downsview Station
to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre replaces the shuttle bus
connection from Downsview Station to York University
that carries a daily average of 20,200 riders. It will be
the first subway line to cross a municipal boundary in
the region and will support significant new development.
DOWNTOWN
VAUGHAN
STATION
The subway will connect to other municipal rapid transit
lines, such as Brampton’s Züm, York Region’s vivaNext
YRT, and regional GO bus service at the Highway 407
station. It will be the longest extension to the Toronto
subway network in almost 40 years.
Estimated completion date Fall 2017.
