Apex Body for Training and Human Resources Development in Power Sector .It has experience/expertise in Power Sector training for more
than 50 years .
About the Course : This is a job oriented unique course w h i c h covers complete operation and maintenance of Power Transmission
& Distribution Systems, as per the guideline of CEA regulations 2010 for Transmission & Distribution of power.
Why should you join ? Power Sector is a continuous expanding sector. The amendments in the Indian Electricity Act have opened
private sector participation in the Transmission & Distribution of Power. It has further created a large demand for the trained manpower in
Electrical Utilities. The main objective of the course is to create a technically skilled trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the
power companies in the areas of Transmission & Distribution of Electrical Power. On successful completion of this course, the Graduate
Engineers will find immense opportunities and preference in employment with various companies engaged in T&D of Power.
Placement : NPTINER will take maximum efforts so that participants will get a chance to appear for interview in related companies , however
placement can not be assured .
Eligibility : Bachelor
of
Engineering
or
equivalent in “Electrical” or “Electrical
& Electronics” or “ Power Engineering”.
Age Limit : There is no age limit for applying to the Course..
Selection Criteria for Admission : Percentage of mar k s obtained i n B.E. or equivalent examination as per University Norms.
No. of Seats : 60 (Sixty only). Few seats are reserved for sponsored category. Reservation for SC, ST, OBC (non- creamy layer) & PH
will be as per Govt. Norms in the non- sponsored category.
Sponsored Candidates : Candidates sponsored by their Employer will be admitted directly. They will have to submit original sponsorship
letter at the time of admission.
Fee Structure : 1. Course Fee (To be paid in 2 installements) : (a) Non Sponsored - Rs.145000/- + Service Tax @15% +(b) Sponsored Rs.
190000+ Service Tax @15% 2.Refundable Security Deposit- Rs.2000/- 3.Conveyance Charge Rs.1800/- + Service Tax 5.80% 4. Lodging
Charge Optional Rs.15000/- (for entire duration of course for twin sharing /non a/c room) 5 Boarding Charge- Present rate is Rs.2600/- p.m. +
service Tax @8.70% ( 2 months boarding charges to be paid at the time of admission .Rest on monthly basis there after.) Placement Fees
Rs.15000/- + Service Tax @15% ( To be paid if placed).
