Biography of Sarah Van Den Boom
Born to a sculptor and a drawer, Sarah Brigaud was brought up
in an artist studio. After completing literary studies, Sarah joined
the Met workshop of Penninghen and then got a degree at the
Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. The works of Frédéric Back, Youri Norstein, Alexandre Petrov, and Satoshi Kon
have provided inspiration. Alessandro Barrico, as well as with
the young producer Luca Chiari, and the unfailing support from
her husband and assistant Richard Van den Boom, all helped her
to complete her first short film.
