In Milton Keynes, Brighton, Exeter and London, exciting wheelchair rugby activities are taking place in the fan zones and with the hosts of local Rugby World Cup trophy tours. GBWR aims to engage fans and give them the opportunity to build unforgettable experiences as part of their own Rugby World Cup 2015 story. Come and join us in the fan zones. The first event will be at Brighton & Hove Albion FC’s home stadium, the Amex. More details are to follow so keep an eye out on the GBWR website. Sports Science Research The University of Worcester are conducting research into wheelchair basketball athletes and other wheelchair athletes. The research is supported by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation but they would like to include more wheelchair athletes from other sports. Why take part? Imagery research has shown succesful athletes make use of imagery more than unsuccesful athletes and research with disabled athletes has previously been neglected. The questionnaire takes 20 minutes and all entrants will be entered into a draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher. This questionnaire is open to anyone who plays a wheelchair sport aged 16 and over. Any problems/ questions please email Dr. Andrea Faull, University of Worcester on [email protected].
