In the pages that follow, you will find a veritable cornucopia (to stay with the fall
theme) of freely available programs, events and activities. Did you know your
library has more than 100 active community partnerships to support lifelong
learning in Greater Victoria? Together we create opportunities for all residents to
thrive. This is perhaps the greatest strength of our public library system: we meet
the needs and interests of individuals, collectively contributing to the success
and well-being of the community as a whole.

LOAN
PERIOD
For many in our community, fall signals the
unofficial start of a new year. It is time for children
to go back to school, for post-secondary students
to commence their studies and with the passing
of Labour Day, the end of summer vacations
(and stay-cations) for residents of all ages. It is a
season filled with anticipation, new beginnings and
opportunities to learn and create. There is no better
place to cultivate your curiousity than the Greater
Victoria Public Library.
