Topcon AT-G Series Levels
This series offers wide range of automatic levels for the land surveyor,
civil engineer and contractor. Most levels use thin copper wire tapes to
suspend the automatic levelling system (compensator), this works well
until the level suffers from an impact, then the tapes stretch or snap
making the level inoperable. The repair cost for this can equal the cost
for a new level, however, all AT-G series levels feature a magneticallydampened compensator hung by four special mylar ribbons having
superior resistance to cold, heat and shock.
All AT-G models are highly water resistant with a nitrogen gas sealed
telescope which prevents clouding and moisture on the lens.

Topcon AT-G1 & G2 Precise Levels
The AT-G1 model features a 360° glass horizontal circle using
a 25x magnification microscope to read the circle for precise
horizontal angles, while the AT-G2 has a standard 360°
horizontal circle. All models are waterproof with a nitrogen gas
sealed telescope which prevents clouding and moisture on the
lens.

Topcon DL101C & DL-102C Digital Levels
With two levels of accuracy (0.4mm/1.0mm), Topcon's DL101C and DL-102C Digital Levels increase speed, accuracy
and productivity in the field. Both levels store data internally
or to a memory card through the standard PCMCIA slot. The
internal memory is 256K and up to 8,000 points can be stored
in memory. A data collector can also be connected to the DL
Series RS232 port for differential levelling. Processing software that includes a high precision least squares adjustment
routine is also available. Enhanced features of the DL series
software include Inverted Rod Readings, Compatibility with
STAR * LEVEL Software and User Defined Point Numbers.
Faster Automatic Measurement
When used with Topcon’s unique patterned staff, height and distance can be automatically
determined digitally by the DL-101C/102C. Since it’s a fully automatic electronic measurement,
there is no need to make an optical reading! You just sight the staff, focus, and press the
measurement button. It’s that simple! The results appear in the clearly visible display window
after about four seconds.
Highly Accurate Measurements
The fully automatic measuring ability and digital display of the DL-101C/102C excludes any
reading errors, writing mistakes in the field book, and other possible human-made errors.
Consequently, the electronic measurement data is always more precise and more reliable as
compared to the conventional visual measurement.

Manual or Automatic?
There are two basic types of machine control systems.
Indicate systems, also known as manual systems
allow the user to monitor visual grade information and
adjust the elevation of the blade accordingly.
An automatic machine control system enables the
operator to monitor visual grade information with the
option of automatically maintaining the blade on grade
by sending the information directly to the hydraulic
system of the equipment.

Topcon GPT-3100N Reflectorless Total Station
The new GPT-3100N recently replaced Topcon’s long
standing GPT-3000N series. This latest release has many
technological advances including a new laser for non-prism
distance measurement which offers a major leap forward in
performance in a construction site surveying Total Station.
Four models of different angle accuracy specification are

Topcon IS Imaging, Scanning & Robotic Total Station

How it works
The IS has dual digital imaging cameras which provide a colour,
real-time image on the touch sensitive LCD display. To define a
scan area, simply tap the image display, or for
uniform measurement of an area, select the auto-grid feature. The
IS “locks” these points to their exact position on the image, even
when the instrument is rotated. Once all points to be measured
are chosen, the IS performs a reflectorless measurement of each
point.
ImageMaster™ Software
Image master provides image and scan control of the imaging station through WiFi connection,

Topcon BR-1 DGPS Beacon Receiver
The GMS-2 has an option that increases real-time correction
capabilities of the GMS-2 hand-held receiver– the addition of a
BR-1 DGPS beacon receiver. The GMS-2 GIS mobile GPS
receiver can utilize the new BR-1 to receive sub-meter differential
correction signals from the Coast Guard beacon in real-time for
data collection and navigation.
GIS Mapping
Not so easily interrupted
Now, with this additional receiver option, real-time correction
reception becomes possible in areas where it might not have been
previously. The Coast Guard beacon is a free, land-based radio
signal that is not easily interrupted by obstructions – trees, buildings
and natural terrain obstacles.
Four channels
The BR-1 has the unique feature of four channels and provides
users with up to four consistently available correction signals to
achieve sub-meter, real-time accuracies in the field. The new
receiver will automatically select the best correction of the four

C-Scope SGA & SGV Signal Transmitters
These superb industry standard signal generators from C-Scope supply
a 33kHz signal either through a direct connection or by induction. You
can place the transmitter near the service in question to connect the
signal by induction or use the clips and leads supplied to make a direct
connection, there are also signal clamps available to aid the direct
connection method.
Cable Location
There are two models to choose from, the SGA indicates via audio the
quality of connection and battery condition whereas the SGV provides
visual and audio indication of battery condition and quality of
connection. Both C-Scope signal generators are compatible with any
other 33kHz cable avoidance tool offering flexible compatibility with any
existing cable avoidance equipment you may already have.
All C-Scope models are Network Rail approved
For long distance tracing or greater selectivity the signal strength is adjustable. A pulsed tone is
used for the purpose of general detection as it is easy to distinguish from other signals on the
same line, with a continuous tone being used for depth measurement.

Precise Barcode Levelling Staff
The barcode staff is for use with the Topcon range of digital

Reflective Retro Targets
Reflective targets work with most EDM’s for monitoring work where you have
to leave targets in position over long periods of time. These self adhesive
bright yellow targets can easily be seen in daylight and each 25mm target can
give a measuring range of over 100m with millimetre accuracy. Greater
distance can be achieved using multiples of 5 and 9 targets together.
Crack Mark Tell Tales
A simple yet accurate device for monitoring crack movement. This inexpensive device consists
of two acrylic plates which move independently of each other, one has crosshairs and the other a
correlating grid. Attached using screws, an adhesive or even a combination of both, the
crosshairs will move across the grid indicating crack movement.

Topcon have two purpose built service centre’s of excellence in which all laser, optical
and GPS products are fully repaired and calibrated to manufacturer’s standard. We are
also the only service centre with ISO 9001 accreditation in Ireland.
Topcon’s service departments have six
expertly maintained collimators in total.
Optical collimators are used for the repair
and recalibration of all Auto-Levels,
Theodolites and Total Stations. Laser
collimators are used for the repair and
recalibration of Laser Levels and Pipe
Lasers.
Topcon service centre’s offer full quotations
on all repairs free of charge and with no
obligation to proceed, it is also the only
manufacturer based service centre in Ireland,
with all its engineers fully trained by Topcon
Corp.
Topcon also calibrate all makes of laser and
survey products.
All instruments are tried and tested to ensure
accurate results to the manufacturer’s
standard giving the required assurance to the
end user.
All Topcon laser products come with a five year manufacture warranty.
