President ’ s Message
Dear TAGDV members,
Thank you all for giving me and my Executive Committee members an
opportunity to serve the Telugu Community. As a team we would like
to organize the events such as Blood Drive, Medical Camp, Festival
Events, Support needy students from India, help mainstream community (Soup Kitchen, Philabundance etc..), help artists from India. Your
Executive Committee is committed to be available to help the community when there is unexpected situations. Without your Financial
support TAGDV can not organize such events.
I request all the members to attend the programs and extend your
continued support throughout our tenure. Together, we can make a
difference to bring the old glory of our great TAGDV organization.

Events Conducted
TAGDV in association with Bharatiya Temple and Red cross organized Blood Drive on Saturday, June
16, 2012 at Bharatiya Temple.
TAGDV supported and raised $44,000 for Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad. Hero Nandamuri Balakrishna attended as chief guest for this Fundraising dinner on Wednesday,
July 4th 2012 at Chateau Granieri, Norristown, PA.
TAGDV Felicitated Professor S. Satyanarayana, Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad
on Thursday, 12th July 2012 at Bawarchi Restaurant, Chesterbrook, PA.

Treasurer Update
The Accounts transfer from the previous executive committee has not been executed yet. Though, “Ugadi
2012” held on May 12 2012 but we have not received income & expense report as of today. We have
approached past treasurer and Past president to send the Ugadi Expense report prior to Account transfer
to new executive committee. As soon as we finish the proper account transfer, I will communicate with the
general body.
As I promised at the time of elections, I work closely with the TAGDV executive committee., maintain
accounts properly and file taxes on time., deposit Life membership fee in a Certificate of Deposit (CD) for
a better interest rate., send Income and expense report to EC within a month after completion of each
Program, update Executive Committee for every 5 new life members joined, include Membership database
and Financial Balance sheet in the Newsletter and on the website for members to review.
