• Having covered 50% of the credits of the major
curriculum.
• Being a regular student with a minimum average of
8.5.
• A good command of the Spanish language.

• Academic exchange request with photograph.
(Attached)
• A letter of application addressed to the Department of
Academic Exchange Programme.
• A letter of intention explaining the reasons why you are
suitable for this academic exchange.
• 2 academic recommendation letters.
• Cardex photocopies or Academic History ( sealed and
signed )
• Passport copy. (ID copy for national students)
• Medical insurance and life insurance valid during the
stay or copy of the facultative medical insurance or
a letter of compromise of acquiring an international
medical insurance.
• Resumé. ( No supporting documentation)
• Document where you can prove a good command of the
language. ( in the case of not being Spanish-speaking)

documents in one single PDF file, with the student’s first and

IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES

In the case of those foreign students who have an
interest to stay more than 180 days in the country,
they must ask for a student visa from the immigration
council before they leave their place of origin.
HOUSING
UQROO has an active project of university villas which will be
available soon. For the moment we have a catalogue where you
can find some suggestions about housing.

The university has a Teaching Languages Center where
it offers different courses such as: English, French,
Italian, Mayan, Spanish for foreign students, German
and Chinese. The university has a Self-Access Center
