What is the Style Exhibition?
The Style Exhibition is an annual event held in the spring and is a threeday culmination of events highlighting the business of fashion, beauty
and entertainment in our community.
The event is organized by 3Jay Productions and began in 2007.

Who is 3Jay Productions?
3Jay Productions is a beauty, fashion and entertainment company based in
the Southeastern US. Licensed business since August 2006, registered with
the SC Film Commission and logo is a registered trademark.
The talent on the team spans throughout the southeast upward to the northeast
and mid-west. 3Jay is a rung in the ladder to success. Understanding that
each artist offers his own innovative style of music, each model her own
unique beauty, each event creativity and “wow” power, we contribute to the
final product.
As such, our focus is to work with the development and planning of each entity.

THEME?
What is the theme and what will take place
each night?
This year the theme is “Concordia” which is a Latin term for harmony.
The artistic meaning for harmony is the unity of all visual elements of
composition achieved by the same characteristics. Our team is excited
to be celebrating the death of status quo fashion and the rebirth of selfexpression. The three day event will be composed of networking socials,
shopping, runway shows and entertaining parties. The fashions displayed
will be a mix of accessories, avant-garde, street wear, swimwear and
ready-to-wear.

How can I participate?
We have had great support from many businesses throughout the Continental
US and expect partnerships to continue to be forged. In August 2011 the event
was given a personal endorsement from Steve Benjamin, Mayor of Columbia
dubbing the event as a boost for county tourism. Following this, in January
2012 Columbia City Council awarded the event with a proclamation and
marking the event as the premiere fashion event of Columbia, SC. Our team
is seeking sponsors, vendors, volunteers, media, promotional models, runway
models, clothing designers, boutiques, hair stylists, make-up artists and photographers. Those interested in being included as a contributor are asked to submit
an inquiry via email with company/individual contact information to include
area(s) of interest and level of participation to: [email protected].
We are seeking contributors, partners and sponsors on
various levels to support this event. The style exhibition
attracts a dynamic audience that includes consumers,
editors, designers, agents, entrepreneurs, executives,
fashionistas and socialites.
Dear Potential Contributor,
3Jay Productions is a beauty, event management, fashion and imaging company based in Columbia, South
Carolina. Our mission is to be a rung in the ladder to success. As such, we offer the following services to our
clients: event planning (of all types), brand/talent development, casting, promotions, art direction, conceptual
styling, make-up artistry, hair styling, wardrobe/imaging and writing (press kit, contractual & publication). A
few of our business affiliates own modeling agencies, magazine publications and photography studios. With
that being said we cater to any and all needs of those in the fashion and beauty industries.
Fashion-related events and elaborate annual weeklong productions have always taken place outside of the
capital city. Members of our team have each been afforded the privilege to take part in many of these events
and offer their expertise. Yet the metropolitan of South Carolina did not have an event of this type to call its
own. Until the spring of 2007 when we embarked on our first showcase, the first of its kind in this area, and
have quickly grown to be the premiere fashion & networking event of Columbia, SC.
The Style Exhibition is geared toward fashion and beauty professionals who desire to catapult their names in
the industry. The show has featured talents spanning from throughout the east coast and mid-western states.
This event is a boost for southeastern tourism specifically within the City of Columbia, as it spans three days. It
has drawn reality television stars such as
Lisa Wu-Hartwell from BRAVO®, Cristal Steverson from VH-1® and more recently Ramón Lawrence, Designer
and contestant in Season six of Project Runway®. The talents who have participated in past shows have each
continued on and become very successful, with features in major events such as Couture Fashion Week™ and
pictured in publications such as ZINK© & ELLE Magazine© to name a few.
The sixth annual event will take place April 2013; the exact dates will be released in the Fall.
An event of this magnitude takes considerable planning which has already begun. I personally invite you to
be involved and to attend. Each day’s event will offer something unique and in totality is a great networking
opportunity for all involved.
