EPAC's goal is to give each individual the chance to understand the creativity and satisfaction of movement. By creating multiple paths for students we will help shape well rounded performers and individuals. The welcoming atmosphere we provide will help children feel they can be themselves. We hope to create inspiration, memories, and life long lessons for your children. By creating hope we find it is possible to "rise to your summit"! Rise to your summit Back to School!!! Register online or come on in and register at the studio. Once you have registered online you will need to make an appointment during one of these days. August 19-22 1-4pm August 23 1-6pm When you come in you will be able to… • Order shoes if needed. • Purchase dance attire. Check out our sale! • Make your first payment! • Set up a Disney Account! Recital Videos! The DVD Distributor assured they would be delivered the week of August 12-19! Fundraising Committee! We are looking for a few parents/volunteers to help us with our fundraising activities. Please email us if interested! First Month Free All New Students ALL New students receive their first month free! New Competition Students who want to compete a solo will have their choreography fee Waived! 2 DATES TO REMEMBER! • First Week of Dance Sept.9-14 Talent show & Parade Talent show- auditions are September 15th 11am-3pm at the Bloomington Center for the Arts! • Heritage Talent Show Auditions Sept. 15 • Parade Practice Sept. 13th 5-7pm • Heritage Days Parade Sept. 21st Please let us know a.s.a.p. which dancers want to perform. We will decide from there, which dances will audition! Future Dates! • Nationals June 2014 • Disney World Trip Summer 2015 Parade- All dancers interested in dancing in the parade rsvp by sending an email. There will be one rehearsal Aug. 13 5-7pm. Ages- 5-up (No FEE costume is Recital T-shirt and black dance shorts!) We will also be looking for dancers pass out candy from the float in their recital costumes. Ages 3-7 3 Introducing Jennifer Mack! Bio-Jennifer originally trained at Rochester Ballet School and Janet Lang Dance Studio of Rochester, MN, but also spent summers at: Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Alvin Ailey, the Cunningham School, Steps and Broadway Dance Center of NYC. Previously she danced 6 seasons with Continental Ballet and also performed in Montreal, Hungary, Ireland, Colorado, New York, Wisconsin and Minneapolis/St. Paul as a guest artist with: Debra Jinza-Thayer's Movement Architecture, Eclectic Edge Ensemble, Jagged Edges Ensemble, Kari Jensen's Moving Arts Ensemble, Kim Robbards Dance Company, Offleash Area, Rainy Day Cabaret, Ray Terrill & Dancers, Rosy Simas Dance Project, Spandrel, Vox Medusa Dance Company and numerous independent choreographers as well as commercial work for Aveda, Best Buy & Cost Cutters. Her own choreography has been performed in Hungary, MN, NYC, and WI. It often includes live accompaniment and collaboration with local bands,musicians & composers such as: Aby Wolf, Ada Jane, Alex Kaufman/Dichotomy, Matt Marka and Ben Seims. Her choreography was selected for 'Rhythmically Speaking' and 'Renovate' Choreographer's Evenings in Minneapolis, MN several years in a row and was recently awarded a Cultural Arts Grant through Eau Claire, WI in 2012, which she used to co-produce 'Movement Arts Day 2012' with fellow choreographer, Cheri Dostal. Jennifer graduated Magma Cum Laude with a B.A. in Dance Performance and a B.S. in Arts Management & International Business from UW-Stevens Point and is currently a member of St. Paul City Ballet, Cities Classical Dance Ensemble, and Alternative Motion Project. She also is an active teacher to teenagers and adults in all forms of dance all over the state of MN. This summer she is launching a new creative avenue, The Porch Project with fellow performing artists: Lindsay Anderson & Ashleigh Penrod. Jennifer resides in Minneapolis, MN with life partner, Matt Marka and their newest addition, Zuzu, who is inspiring new work!
