o iCloud wasn’t hacked. Apple’s password security was
the issue.
• Front line of defense for any cloud system is encryption.
o Complex algorithms to conceal cloud-protected
information.
• Password security is key!
o Avoid using the same password over multiple
platforms.
o Add letters, numbers, and symbols to your password.
o Do not use a password that is in any way related to your
personal life.
• Make sure to research different cloud providers. Make sure
the cloud service is from a reliable source.
