The Innovation Day
Innovation is the Celebration of Creativity
-Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam
MVJCE celebrates the innovation day on
29th of April 2016, to encourage the creative
ideas of the emerging engineers. The prime focus
of the day is to elicit, exhibit, evaluate the student
talents and rewarding them as well. To make the
celebration out in front, we are organizing a
National Level Project Expo and Competition on
the same day.
Rules for the Project Expo



With the leadership from eminent
professional bodies like CSI & IETE and corporates
,The National Level Project Expo would like to
attract the best student projects from eminent
technical colleges pan India. Projects from all
engineering disciplines are suitable for the Expo.
Established in 1982, the MVJ College of
Engineering, the agship of Venkatesha Education
Society, imparts education beyond engineering
and management. Situated on a 15-acre campus in
White eld, Bangalore, MVJCE has state-of-the-art
infrastructure, creating an environment for
progressive learning and development.
We a r e p e r m a n e n t l y a l i a t e d t o
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and
approved by the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE). MVJCE has been recognized as
a Microsoft Platinum partner and has a designated
Microsoft Innovation Center on Campus. MVJCE
has on campus learning centers in collaboration
with companies such as National Instruments,
QuestGlobal and Infosys.
The hands-on competition challenges
the participants not only on the technical side, but
also on conception and communication of details
in order to share this technology with technical as
well as the non-engineering community. This
event will provide an unparalleled opportunity to
learn from leading industry experts. You will get
updated with the latest tools, solutions and
services at one of the India s biggest and most
important project events. The criteria for
evaluation will be Originality/Creativity/E cacy
to society , Oral Presentation and Technical Skills.




Project Expo & Competition

A team can consist of maximum 4 members
from the same college, but can be from
di erent departments. A college can send
any number of teams
The lled registration form duly signed by
head of the institution (scanned copy) along
with abstract document not exceeding 400
words has to be mailed, on or before 20th
March 16 to [email protected] .
The short-listed projects will be intimated by
10th April 2016.
Projects must be the original design and
creation of the entrant(s).Subject matter is
the choice of the participant(s)
On submitting a project, students agree that
the information about the project may be
presented at the meetings held at MVJCE,
featured in our publications, and included in
our web site.
Risks to participants should be avoided.
Unethical conduct may result in
disquali cation.
Decision of the expert committee will be
nal in categorizing and short-listing the
projects.
There will be no registration fee. No TA/DA
will be provided for the participants.
