About Maths Department
The Department of Mathematics was established in
MVJCE in Bangalore in the year 1982 with the
objective of imparting quality education in the field
of Mathematics. Since Mathematics is the back bone of
S c i e n c e , E n g i n e e r i n g a n d Te c h n o l o g y,
t h e d e p a r t m e n t t r i e s h a r d t o d e v e l o p t h e
students in the fundamental concepts of mathematics
to shine in their respective fields of engineering.
The Department of Mathematics also has expertise
in various fields of Applied Mathematics which has
enabled them to teach several subjects pertaining to
mathematics and its applications like Graph Theory,
Discrete Mathematics for Under Graduate Courses
and Numerical Methods, Advanced Mathematics,
Optimization Techniques, Applied Mathematics and
Probability and Random Process for Post Graduate
Courses.
About the Conference:
The aim of the conference (NCAPAM-2016) is to
discuss the recent developments in different
a re a s o f M a t h e m a t i c s , a n d t o d i s c u s s i t s
applications to science and engineering.
This conference is also to provide a platform
among mathematicians and young researchers
to exchange their new ideas and views in the field of
Mathematics.
Participation & Paper Presentation:
Applications are invited from Students, Research Scholars
and Faculty Members of Mathematics, Science and
Engineering disciplines.
Novel research papers are welcome to be presented in
the Conference. The topics of the presentation can be
from Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Science
and Engineering with applications of Mathematics.
Publication
We invite researchers and academicians from different
fields of Mathematics to submit their work through
mail or website. The work should be original.
Abstract shall be confined up to a maximum of 300 words.
Kindly prepare the paper in AMS format. Authors of the
selected papers will be informed by email to send
t h e s o f t c o py o f t h e i r p a p e r s ( i n wo rd o r i n
LaTeX format) to the organizing committee through
website. Papers selected for presentation will be
further reviewed and considered based on the comments
received from the reviewer for with the
one of the following two journals:
International Journal of Engineering Research and
Technology (ISSN: 2278 - 0181) .

(ISSN: 0973 - 1768), a SCOPUS indexed journal which is
also indexed with Annexure journals of MVJCE, Bangalore.
(Publication charge is Rs. 2500/- per paper).
