SPEAKER BIOS
KIRK DAVIS, DO
TOM HOUSE, PHD
Dr. House’s personal mission is to inform, instruct, and
inspire people to improve their performance, their
quality of life, and help them live younger longer.
Tom travels internationally teaching and researching
the best protocols and products to help individuals
improve their quality of life. He integrates elite sports
science and sports technology with health and fitness
needs of the everyday individual.
Dr. House is recognized as one of the world’s foremost
authorities on pitching. He pitched on the professional
level from 1967 to 1979 for the Atlanta Braves, the
Boston Red Sox, and for the Seattle Mariners. He
has coached since 1980 for the Houston Astros, San
Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, and Chiba Lotte Marines
(Tokyo). Fluent in Spanish, Tom has also coached
in Latin America. On the amateur level, Tom is an
information and instruction coordinator for 12 baseball
academies across the United States and Canada. He
directly accesses 5,000-6,000 players/coaches per
year in clinic settings.
Dr. House’s four companies—BioKinetics West,
Functional Fitness, Next Generation Nutrition, and
Mental/Emotional Management—lead the way in
three-dimensional analysis of human movement, the
physical preparation to support this movement, the
metabolic preparation to fuel human activity, and the
necessary mental emotional makeup to accomplish all
of the above.
While devoting his life to baseball pitching research,
Dr. House has also been recognized for his work
in the areas of functional fitness and flexibility. His
groundbreaking work in these areas has led to
appointment to the Board of Advisors for the Titleist
Performance Institute. Dr. House holds a PhD in
psychology and travels the world as an international
consultant, performance analyst, and sports
psychologist. He is currently an advisor with the
American Sports Medicine Institute and has paneled
seminars for the Academic Advisors of America.

College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed
his orthopedic residency at Doctors Hospital in
