REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
QUESTION NOS OPUC 4-1 THROUGH OPUC 4-3 1
OPUC 4-1:
Which officer or officers of El Paso approved the portions of this filing pertaining to
creation of the partial requirements class? If any written documentation of such approval is
available, please provide it. Please provide any meeting notes from any meetings held with
the officer(s) and any written briefing materials given to the officer(s) pertaining to the rate
design and customer charge portions of this filing. If a process was involved requiring
sequential approval by more than one corporate officer, provide the -information for each
such approval. Omit substantive material subject to attorney-client or attorney work
product privilege, but identify any such privileged meetings by date, time, and list of
participants and provide a log of such material.
RESPONSE:
EPE's draft proposal for establishing a separate rate class for residential DG customers
originated initially in 2013 with EPE's New Mexico service territory. Verbal approval to
move forward was provided at the Assistant VP level by Mr. Evan Evans.
Final approval to file the Partial Requirements proposal in this case was provided by Mary
Kipp, President, and Thomas Shockley. CEO.
