Fethiye - Kekova
(6 days, 5 nights)
The highlights of the coast compressed - from secluded coves to known locations. All this you will find on
this tour.
Start: Fethiye (Üçağız or Demre)
Finsih: Üçağız or Demre (Fethiye)
Fethiye is one of the most lively places of the coast. But this place has preserved its ancient past as well.
Above the town is the famous temple grave of the Amyntas. And in the streets you will find the remains
of the Byzantine sarkophage. One is even placed directley in the street. Others are integrated into houses
and chicken coops.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the world is found in Ölüdeniz.
Turquoise and aquamarine are here the predominant colors - a real
picture postcard. The beach is best known for the Blue Lagoon, which
even in stormy weather a quiet anchorage and an ideal starting point
for swimming and snorkeling offers.
On the nearby St. Nicholas Island the historic ruins of a monastery,
Byzantine houses, tombs and more are located. It’s particularly
worthwhile to climb on the hill at dawn. From here you will enjoy
one of the most beautiful sunsets along the coast. Note: To enter the
island costs a small fee.
The small town of Kaş is still crisscrosssed with objects that are permeated the ancient population. If you like, you can take a walk to the
well-preserved amphitheater. It‘s just a short walk – about 500 meters. Or simply stroll through the small village and drink a Çay in the
shade of palm trees.
Kekova, the sunken city is mainly
known for its ancient ruins and the
underwater ruins. If we slowly sail
by boat along the coast, you can
see the foundations of buildings, stairways and the harbor basin. And
with a little imagination you can revive the ancient culture.

Opposite of Kekova is the idyllic fishing village of Simena located,
where time seems to stand still. This place is only accessible by boat
or by walking. A road there does not exist yet. A steep path leads you
to the castle of Simena, which can
be visited for a small entrance fee.
From the top you have a beautiful
few over the village and the green
and blue coastline. It is worthwhile
in any case!
On our cruise from Fethiye to Kekova there are many idyllic coves to
anchor, swim and snorkel.
