Welcome to the 2015 Florida Realtors®
District 13 Conference & Expo! We are
pleased to offer excellent speakers on
a variety of topics designed to help you
increase your knowledge and expertise.
From Amy Smythe-Harris in the morning,
Zan Monroe at lunch, then Margy Grant
and Grant Simon in the afternoon, there
is sure to be something for everyone. Please visit the Expo

Zan Monroe is an entrepreneur who
speaks to tens of thousands of people

marketing, leadership and investing. His
clients include Fortune 500 companies in
real estate, banking, mortgage, building,
insurance, and title industries. Zan’s
Leadership and Management Coaching
helps businesses raise their production and become more
profitable. His events enable companies to create a clear
vision of the future and develop the skills that turn talent
into production. Zan travels the world serving the needs of
his clients but his heart is in his hometown of Fayetteville,
NC with his wife Laura and their two children, Louisa and

Margaret “Margy” Grant is Florida
Realtors® Vice President of Law and
Policy/General Counsel. As chief legal
counsel, Margy oversees the law and
policy department which provides the
Florida Realtors® forms library and legal
hotline to over 110,000 members. She
is both a CAE and RCE. Margy joined
Florida Realtors® from the Massachusetts
Association of REALTORS® where she served for 7 years
as the Associate General Counsel. Margy is a graduate of
Suffolk University Law School in Boston and is a member of
the Bar in California, Massachusetts and Florida.

Grant Simon
Grant Simon is celebrating 30 years in
Real Estate and Mortgage Banking. Over
the years, Grant has been a REALTOR®,
Loan Officer, Branch Manager and
Regional Manager for large mortgage
banks. Now he has gone back to his
roots and is originating loans. Grant is
an “Honors” graduate of the University
of Florida. He is also a nationally known speaker and writer,
past Regional Governor for MBA of Florida, past president
of MBA of Central Florida, and three-time ‘Educator of the
Year” for the Orlando Area Association of REALTORS®.

has been in the real estate industry for
16 years and is still a practicing agent.
She served on 2009 Houston Association
of REALTORS® Board of Directors
and the 2011 Houston Association of
REALTORS® Board of Directors, as
well as being on Technology Advisory, Member Profitability/
Training, and NextGen (YPN). She is an instructor for HAR
& a senior instructor for TAR. She is very passionate about
training agents in utilizing technology and social media in
their business practice to become more efficient in their
prospecting.
