TRAINER’S PROFILE: SEAN WONG
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Sean Wong, an accomplished and inspirational multitalented entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, master of
ceremonies, producer and author from Singapore, is
a Singapore Honoree of the Ten Outstanding Young
Persons of the World Award in 2012 and the recipient of
the Spirit of Enterprise Award in 2006.
Sean is the co-author of “Make Your Comeback” (2009)
and author of his upcoming book “Becoming A Champion”
which will be launched by end 2014. An award-winning
entrepreneur, Sean began his entrepreneurial journey
since 1999, with a successful chain of five gift shops in
Singapore and other diversified businesses, providing
services in animation, design, print, music production,
music publishing, book publishing and product distribution. After the collapse of his
businesses during the economic downturn in 2004, Sean was on the brink of
bankruptcy but made his comeback within two years as a personal development life
coach, mentoring young entrepreneurs, coaching aspiring individuals and
international performing arts talents.
As a breakthrough performance coach for over a decade, Sean has been a highlysought-after guest speaker by several corporations and schools, sharing topics on
personal success, personal branding, team-building and entrepreneurship. He has
been invited for radio and TV interviews in several occasions, including Channel
NewsAsia, Good Morning Singapore 早 安 您 好 and was extensively featured in
various local and international media, including The Straits Times, The Business
Times, Lianhe Wanbao, Shin Ming Daily News, Lianhe Zaobao, Today, U-weekly, Iweekly, 8 days, Berita Harian, Her World etc.
Sean is also a talented singer songwriter with many international music awards to his
name. Since 1999, Sean Wong won over 20 prestigious awards around the world,
including USA, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Prague, Bulgaria and Mongolia. He
was nominated for “Best Local Artiste” in Singapore Hit Awards in 2002.
Sean Wong self-produced and launched his debut Mandarin Pop album “Confused”
in Singapore and Malaysia under Rock Records record label in 2001. His second
solo album “Number One” was released under EQ Music in 2006. He also recorded a
duet album with Arnee Hidalgo, a very popular artiste in Philippines. He was selected
by the National Arts Council of Singapore to be the official singer for Sing
Singapore’s national theme song for the year 2003: “A Place in My Heart”.

Sean Wong is an active grassroots volunteer and leader serving the Singapore
community. He is the Secretary for the Telok Kurau Zone 1 Neighbourhood
Committee, Assistant Treasurer for the Joo Chiat Community Welfare Development
Fund (CDWF) Committee, member of Joo Chiat Constituency Sports Club (CSC)
Committee, member of Joo Chiat Community Arts and Culture Club (CACC) and
member of Joo Chiat Community LEAD Champions (CLC). He is elected as the 2014
National Secretary General for JCI Singapore, one of the National Organization
Members of JCI, a worldwide non-profit organization to provide development
opportunities to empower young people to create positive change. In 2013, he was
the recipient of the Most Outstanding Member Award for JCI Singapore. He is also a
member of Mensa Singapore.
