We are here not to say goodbye but to receive you in our hearts as a tender father, dear brother
and special friend. We trust that you will sow in each
country you visit Lebanon’s love and the seeds of the
highborn heritage that we had from two brother countries.”
Meanwhile, Msgr. Thomas Habib expressed his love to Lebanon in sincere words: “Now,
time has come to move to the unknown… but I deeply
trust God who always leads my life to the best. It is
difficult to talk with dear friends about farewell… But I want to say today that it is not a farewell
but an encounter that is a bridge of hope and love gathering us always and based on beautiful
