Youth Programs
MINI - 2 to 3 year olds
Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental
soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the
game. Through fun games, songs, and positive reinforcement, children will begin
to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. We encourage parent
involvement in our Mini classes.
CLASSIC - 3 to 5 year olds
Using creative and imaginative games, weekly sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. We
also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation. Soccer Shots will expose
your child to the fun of soccer and provide the foundation needed to get started in the sport.
PREMIER - 5 to 8 year olds
Still using our fun, non competitive format, the Premier program teaches more mature skills and concepts at a faster rate
through more complex game play.
All programs include a Soccer Shots Jersey!!

over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often
called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check.

Instructor Bio - Kim Beattie
Kim Beattie became a student of Pilates following years
of debilitating pain and physical therapy. It was her last
physical therapist who applied the principles of Pilates to her
rehabilitation. It wasn’t until she became a student of Pilates
that she realized she could live with her pain controlled, and
gain strength and flexibility. She also found a better balance of
mind and body. Her training includes completion of a rigorous
600 hour BASI (Body Arts and Science International) teacher
training program. She spent the last sixteen years caring for her
son who has Autism. Finding the right school for him opened
doors for her to follow her own path.
In addition to her love of family, friends and animals, she and
her family escape to Pacific City as often as possible. Kim lives
with her husband of 23 years, her 16 year old son, her parents,
and a houseful of dogs and cats.

The Facts
Did you know that you are more likely to come in
contact with someone having a mental health crisis
than a heart attack? In the U.S., mental health
conditions are more common than heart disease and
cancer combined and yet they have long been treated
as separate from our overall health and well being. In
any one year, 20% of the population will be diagnosed
with a mental health condition. MHFA helps people
understand that mental illnesses are real, common and
treatable.
