MISSION STATEMENT Created in June 2008, the Independent Living Region exists to prepare foster youth to successfully transition from foster care to adulthood. Our goal is to promote Education, Permanency, Employment and Health & Safety. Our focus is to provide and link youth to resources which promotes self-sufficiency and independence. This Resource Directory is one of the products derived from our efforts. It is divided into four categories: Education, Permanency, Employment, and Health & Safety. This directory is updated annually.
