Our Story
Reed Custom Safes are manufactured by
Heatmor, Inc. Located in Warroad, Minnesota, We
have been in the manufacturing industry for over
30 years. Our founder, Gerry Reed, was researching
gun safes and was unable to find a safe that met his
needs for security, fire protection, and convenience.
As a result, the line of Reed Custom safes was created and have quickly become synonymous with quality, security, and convenience.
Fire Protection
Offers fire protection for 90
minutes at 1200° F with the
added protection of a smoke and fire seal
lining the interior door.
Warranty
Reed Custom Safes
Limited Lifetime Warranty
covers defects in material or
workmanship in your new Reed Custom
Safe. It also covers damage to your safe
caused by a fire, unlawful break-in, or
attempted unlawful break-in. The paint
will only be covered for 2 years.
Security
Protection provided with up
to 1/2” solid door plate.
Additional level of security available in
the 409 stainless steel model.
The anti-pry clutch system and
anti-pound bolt system increases the
security of your investment.
Convenience
The optional Vertical Slider
System helps protect your
investment and makes gun storage and
retrieval convenient. The motion activated
LED lighting and door organizer further

Collection’s combination of stainless steel recessed door, solid steel frame, and

The Gold Collection is the standard Reed Custom Safe is made from 7 gauge steel.
The level of protection offered in our standard safe begins where our competitors
top safe line stops. Each safe features an outlet to power the motion sensor LED
lights, 5-spoke black chrome handles, door kit, and black chrome hinge caps.

Vertical Slider, Storage Systems, and LED Lighting
Vertical Slider System
Reed Custom Safes Vertical Slider System is
unique to Reed Custom Safes. This technology
allows customers to easily access guns or other
valuables in the back of their safe. The Easy
Lock self adjusting gun holders prevent
gun-to-gun contact and are available in two
sizes.
Customers can choose whether they want a
vertical slider equipped for long guns or hand
guns. Each Vertical Slider System can hold up
to 10 long guns or 40 hand guns. Up to 4
Vertical Slider Systems are available per safe
depending on the size of safe. Contact your

LED Lighting
Interior motion sensor
LED lighting is a
standard feature in all
Reed Custom Safes. The
bright LED lights allow
customers to locate and
store their guns, ammunition, valuables, and
important papers with
ease.
Storage Systems
A custom door organizer comes standard
with each Reed Custom Safe. Each holder
is equipped with separate pistol holders
and multiple zipper storage pockets
available in three sizes.
Each safe is built with convenience in mind
and comes with an adjustable shelving unit
on either side of the Vertical Slider System
or standard interior gun storage racks.
