NOTE All necessary passwords will be communicated via training courses and Siemens Intranet only. Restrictions NOTE 2 VMware supports 256MB RAM only. Consider this before any installation of third party software. Delivery 2 The RIS Connection package must be ordered additionally to an existing syngo MammoReport system VB24 or higher. The RIS Connection package contains: - syngo MammoReport RIS Bridge CD with setup and installation for the RIS bridges - MBC-RIS license If the RIS application shall be installed on a Virtual Machine which runs on the syngo MammoReport system, additionally the Package of VMware for RIS Client must be available. The VMware Package contains: - syngo MammoReport VMware DVD with pre-configured Virtual Machine (VMware 6.0) - VMware serial number as license - Windows XP license label for the Virtual Machine Siemens SPB7-420.815.51.06.02 12.11 Page 1 of 8 CS PS SP syngo MammoReport 2-2 Overview Scope of this Document 2 First, read the functional description RIS Connectivity, SPB7-420.850 ... on page 1 - 1 to clarify the customer’s requirements, infrastructure and equipment before starting any RISconfiguration. NOTE As first option, RIS bridges shall be installed on syngo MammoReport workstation. Only for specified exeptions, use Virtual Machine RIS computer to install the RIS bridge on. Use the RIS “Standalone” only as last resort to install the RIS bridge on. There are 3 options where to install the RIS bridge: • As standard option, RIS bridges shall be installed directly on syngo MammoReport workstation. Continue with overview on page 2 - 5 or refer to details on page 3 - 1. • It is strongly recommended NOT to install the Mitra Context Server bridge on the syngo MammoReport workstation. Install this RIS bridge on a Virtual Machine (VMware), where the RIS application is running separately on the syngo MammoReport computer. Continue with overview on page 2 - 6 or refer to details on page 4 - 1. • Only as last resort a RIS bridge can also be installed on a stand-alone RIS computer, where the RIS application is already running. Continue with overview on page 2 - 7 or refer to details on page 6 - 1. syngo MammoReport SPB7-420.815.51.06.02 12.11 Page 4 of 8 CS PS SP Siemens Overview 2-5 Procedure Options 2 RIS Bridge directly on the syngo Computer 2 The required steps for this option are: 1. RIS application already installed on the RIS computer (by RIS administrator/service) 2. Installing the RIS bridge. 3. The syngo MammoReport RIS Bridge CD contains various bridges, which can be reused. HSC can provide you an appropriate Integration test form to validate the interface (allows you to official document this solution). • Please provide basic data -> see Basic Data Form. • Perform the test at site and send the test document back. If no appropriate bridge can be used in your situation, please also inform Service via the established service processes (RSC -> HSC) to get further support. • Please provide also basic data -> see Basic Data Form. New developments may then be required, either at the RIS Vendor and/or Siemens side. Extended resources are needed as well as close contact between both vendors (a fast solution can not be expected).
