Production
Husse foods come from a Scandinavian recipe, developed exclusively for the brand.
The production site for the dried section is registered by AFSCA, l’Agence Fédérale pour la Sécurité de la Chaine Alimentaire
(the Federal Agency for Food Chain Security). The production is IFS version 5 certified. This food security and quality system
includes the “Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points”. A method of identification, localisation, evaluation and control of potential
risks of deterioration in the microbiological, chemical and physical quality of foodstuffs in the food chain.
HACCP was developed by NASA in 1958 in order to guarantee the security of food for astronauts.
Ingredients
In the ingredients used to make Husse products we find high quality ingredients such as: rice, fish, chicken, lamb, nutraceuticals
such as: FOS, beet pulp, green-lipped mussel extracts, L- Carnitine, seaweed, beta-carotene, anti-oxidants, tagetes extract, grape
seed extract, salmon oil, lecithin, Omega 3 and 6, taurine etc.
Quality of the ingredients
The animal ingredients used in Husse products originate from animals that have been inspected by official veterinarians and
judged to be suitable for human consumption. The quality, freshness and purity of the raw materials is controlled systematically
in our chemical lab on the production site. Husse products do not contain artificial flavourings, or artificial preservatives.
Husse products do not contain soya (common cause of allergic reactions an digestive problems in cats and dogs), and are
GMO-free conform Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament. All the animal proteins that are used in husse dry
food are from animals which were approved for human consumption.
