Banana Bread recipe
Name: Date of Lab: Period: My Job for this Lab is: Ingredients Banana Bread • 2c. flour • 1 c. sugar • 1t. baking soda • 1/2 tsp. baking powder • 1/4 tsp. salt • 2 eggs • 1/2 c. oil • 3 bananas • 3 T. milk • 1/2 t. vanilla • chocolate chips (optional) Directions Step 1: Preheat oven to 350* Step 2: Grease and flour loaf pan. Step 3: Using a large bowl, measure all dry ingredients and whisk together. Step 4: In another bowl, using a fork, beat the eggs well. Step 5: To the eggs, add the oil. Beat using the fork. Step 6: Add the bananas. Mash using a pastry blender. Step 7: Add the milk and vanilla. Blend. Step 8: Using a rubber scraper, dig a hole in the dry ingredients. Step 9: Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Blend until the flour begins to disappear. DO NOT OVER MIX! Step 10: Fold in the chocolate chips if desired. Step 11: Place batter in loaf pan. Place in the heated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes. Serve warm or refrigerated, anytime!
