Sixty-seven percent of the teens killed did not wear seat belts, while 36 percent of the deaths were alcohol related. “Georgia Teens Ride with P.R.I.D.E.” (Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error) Course Outline Part I: “Teen Drivers & Motor Vehicle Crashes” Part II: “Understanding the Licensing Process and Georgia’s Teen Driving Laws” Part III: “Coaching Your New Driver” (for parents) OR “Getting the Keys to the Wheels and Keeping Them” (for teenage drivers) Part IV: “Agreement to Ride with P.R.I.D.E.” Is your teenager’s life worth two hours of your time? Register today! Note: This is a FREE, two-hour course designed to help parents and their new teen drivers, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time. This is a program that addresses driver attitude, knowledge, and behavior, rather than a technical hands-on driver training course. While completion of this course may reduce insurance rates, it does not count toward the required 40 hours of supervised driving practice. 104 North Commerce Street (behind the court house) February 23, 2011-Wednesday 5pm– 7pm Kascey Ifill 912-429-8025 or 912-877-3600 PRIDE CL004 Check out our Website! www.hinesvilledowntown.com Mondays Preschool Storytime Ages 3-5 10:30am Tuesdays TreeTots Storytime Ages 0-2 10:30am (Visit www.liveoakpl.org for complete list of events) Become a fan on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/hinesvilledowntown Mondays @ 6pm &Wednesdays @ 3pm—Fine Arts Classes The Mills House / Pre-Register at 404-805-7350 Sponsored by: Hinesville Area Arts Council To celebrate, we are giving away trees for planting! 1st thru 18th— LCRD Spring Program Registration (See Side Panel for Details) 1st thru 12th-- Help Haiti 2011 — Shoe Donations Donate your gently worn or new shoes / 876-3564 2nd—Hinesville Downtown Partners Meeting 8:30am Bryant Commons—138 W Oglethorpe Hwy / 877-4332 2nd—Crafty Wednesday 4:30pm Hinesville Public Library—236 W Memorial Dr / 368-4003 4th—Re-Grand Opening—Vann’s Bar & Grill 1:30pm 726 E Oglethorpe Hwy in EconoLodge/ 369-Vann (8266) 4th—Live Music @ Juan’s Mexicali 207 W General Screven Way / 408-5826 7pm 4th—Mardi Gras Party @ Vann’s Bar & Grill 8pm 726 E Oglethorpe Hwy in EconoLodge/ 369-Vann (8266) 5th—United Ministerial Alliance Meeting 8am Top Christian Book Store —406 B Main Street / 876-6520 6th—BoyScout Sign-up Sunday 11am United Methodist Church — 203 N.
