decision to become a musician. It wasn’t enough to

Everyone at Protection Racket is involved in music,
we are just like you! Dean is a drummer, Deans son
Charlie is a drummer and plays guitar. Tommy is a
guitarist and singer, Tommy’s son Ryan is a drummer.
Nick is a bass player, Nicks son Ryan is a bass player.
Mandy is going out with Foz, Foz is the bass player
in Deans band The Defs! Lesley isn’t a musician
but she comes to all our gigs and does all the

Fast approaching our 20th Anniversary, We’ve been
doing this for a long time now, and that’s just making
musical instrument cases. We made our name in the
making world of surfing and windsurfing equipment.

and rigorous testing goes into every case. From concept to
design to production can take up to 18months and every case

One Piece Construction: effortless to use no need to muck about with lids
buckles and straps. No buckles to break no straps to break. The Stitching
Thread: Bonded nylon that doesn't deteriorate and holds the case together
even if an area of stitching is breached. Double Stitching: To first complete
the wall and two ends separately and then to join them together giving twice
the security at the corners and edges for greater protection and durability.
The Webbing Handles & Seams: 1,500 kilo breaking strength giving enormous
load carrying capacity. Handles Vertically Mounted on Seam: Both handle
and seam are doubly secure by the former being stitched to the seam's 1,500
kilo breaking strength webbing, rather than to the body of the case. Zips:

All Protection Racket bass drum case
internal dimensions will accommodate
all fixtures & fittings on your bass drum.
We base our measurements on the shell
size of the drum and allow for tom arm
mount, spurs/legs and drum hoops. So,
if you have a 22” x 16” bass drum order
our model 1622 - 22” x 16” bass drum
case for a perfect fit.

TOM CASES
Fast toms, power toms, standard toms, RIMS,
we’ve got a case to suit all your configurations.
If you have a tom fitted with a suspension
mounting system, simply add an R to the model
number of the tom case you are ordering to
receive a case with an extra 1½” across the
internal diameter to accommodate your RIMS
mount. Please note that Yamaha Y.E.S.S & DW
mounts (post 2003) do not require RIMS size
cases.
If you are in any doubt about whether you
require RIMS or Non-RIMS size, simply take
a tape measure to your tom and measure
the distance between the shell and tom arm
mount. If the distance is over .75” you will
need RIMS size cases.

but effective internal dividing system that
is totally adjustable to meet your requirements.
The “snaking” divider is attached to the inside
of the case via velcro and can create up to 10
compartments.

degree of hardness, determined
by its density and chosen by us,
at the design stage of our guitar
cases. ROCKET FOAM density is
between 60- 65 kgs/m3. It is
strong enough to walk on without
major distortion. Most of the cells or bubbles in
ROCKET FOAM are not broken; they resemble inflated
balloons or soccer balls, piled together in a compact
configuration.
This makes ROCKET FOAM strong and fairly rigid because
the bubbles are strong enough to take a lot of pressure, like the inflated tyres
that hold up an automobile. The cells are full of a special gas, selected to
make the protective value of ROCKET FOAM as high as possible, without
gaining weight.

S.H.I.T. foams are mainly open-cell in their chemical structure. They
are soft - like a cushion or some packaging materials. The cell walls,
or surfaces of the bubbles in this foam are broken and air fills all of
the spaces in the material. S.H.I.T. foam is soft and weak, as if it
were made of broken balloons or soft toy rubber balls. The density
of these S.H.I.T. foams are around 15- 20 kgs/m3.

foams are its superior protective (P) value. This (P) value
