About Chocolate Fest
E
ach year Canada’s Chocolate Town, St. Stephen, New
Brunswick, celebrates our community’s rich and
delicious heritage with our annual Chocolate Fest.
Now in its 30th year, this week-long, family-oriented
festival is “choc-full” of activities, fun events, and all
things chocolate-related. Our beloved mascot, The
Great Chocolate Mousse, and his
lovely wife Tiffany, invite you to
join us this August for the
sweetest festival of the year –

Contest
First Annual Choco-Post Card Contest
Chocolate Fest has created a Post Card Contest
as a fundraiser for our local schools and Chocolate
Fest. We encourage children of all ages and skill
levels to enter this FREE contest.
Pick up your post card at Miss Scoops (don’t forget
to buy an ice-cream) and let us know why you love
Canada’s Chocolate Town, by using your
imagination, creating your original art work by way
of a picture or story.
Return your art to Miss Scoops (don’t forget to buy
another ice-cream) by New Brunswick Day,August
4, 2014.The Post Cards will be on display the week
of Chocolate Fest for all those to see. Judging will
take place on Saturday, August 9, 2014. After the
Judging, you (mom, dad, grandparents, caregiver or
friend) can purchase the art for $2 each. $1 will go
to the artist’s school/daycare and $1 will remain
with the Chocolate Fest so we can continue to
provide these great events.

Lumberjack Championship

Location: Salmon Falls Park, Milltown Generating Station
An exciting competition that will attract more than 30 of the best
lumberjacks and lumberjills to Canada’s Chocolate Town. Amidst
flying woodchips, 10 events with cash prizes for the winners of each
test of forestry skills. Being filmed by Rogers TV, one of only four
stops of the “Battle Jack” Series. 50/50 draw. Oak Bay Fire
Department will host a barbecue on-site, Swamp Bear Art is a
Canadian chainsaw artist and will be creating a one-of-a-kind piece

Treasure Hunt Challenge

Discover why St. Stephen is “Canada’s Chocolate Town.” Begin
your tour at The Chocolate Museum, then move on to a second
room in the former Ganong factory building where you’ll be
transported back in time to the early 1900’s. Explore some of the
businesses and stores from St. Stephen’s past and meet current
Ganong employees who will explain the tricks of their trade. You
will have lots of fun and sweet treats at this unique event. Tour will
take approx. one hour and will start at 9:30 am; 10:30 am; 11:30
am; 1:30 pm; 2:30 pm; 3:30 pm (Cdn). For details call The

Create Your Own Chocolates

Chocolate Pudding Eating Contest

hands, the first to finish is declared absolute ruler of the Chocolate
World in their age category. This is a fast-paced competition. A tip:

Curious George goes to a Chocolate Factory

When George and the man with the yellow hat stop to shop at a
chocolate factory store, George becomes curious about how
chocolates are made. Though he begins to follow the factory tour,
