the installation stage where all our processes come together.

buying that individual’s knowledge and experience. We have highly structured training
and certification programs to ensure consistently high levels of service for all customers.

benefit from the same criteria and instructional techniques such as plant simulators and
monitoring technologies. Once in the field, they become an indispensable part of the

We have increased our investment in new technology by 30% year after year, focusing
on benefits requested by our customers for increased reliability and availability, longer
equipment life, lower ambient impact and increased production. Of unique advantage,
is our ability to draw on the knowledge and resources of all GE’s other high-tech
businesses (Aviation, Water, Healthcare) and adapt them to increase productivity in

We began in 1997 with one service shop in Florence, Italy, and have grown to a dozen
dedicated Global Services centres around the world – all supported by more than 80
manufacturing, sales and service facilities across the entire Oil & Gas organization.

Upgrades and modifications for your equipment
Operating conditions and performance requirements can change significantly over the
working life of a plant. In response, GE’s Oil & Gas business has developed over 300
conversion, modification and uprate solutions for turbines, compressors, turboexpanders,

latest innovations including Advanced Welding & Brazing, ACR Cleaning and Advanced

GE’s iCenter in Florence, Italy, is the central command post for all our remote
monitoring, diagnostic and prognostic services. It is equipped with a full range of
precision analytical systems for oil and gas operations. iCenter is continuously online
with our advanced instrumentation installed at customer sites around the world. Data
is transmitted from client plants and machines for real-time monitoring and expert
analysis by our technical team.

High-quality training is essential for improving the skills of operating

training for the operation and maintenance of our complete line of
machinery and equipment. Our instructors are field-seasoned experts
who combine their understanding of theory with practical experience.
Traditional training tools are augmented with computer-based training

Courses and technical literature can be provided in a variety of
languages and are designed to meet specific customer needs, focusing
