Signed and given his debut by Ron Atkinson, it was only under the management
of Sir Alex Ferguson the Clayton Blackmore truly rose to prominence at Old
Trafford. The Welshman had the unique distinction of sporting every outfield
shirt number between 2-11 for the reds, (prior to the modern advent of squad
numbers) so ranging was his versatility. Used primarily as a full-back or a
midfielder. Clayton developed a reputation for his fearsome shooting, especially
from dead-ball situations, and was an integral part of Sir Alex's side as the reds
began picking up silverware. A key player in the FA Cup and European Cup
Winners' Cup triumphs of the early 1990s, Blackmore also picked up richly
deserved Premier League winner's medal in 1993 before injury curtailed his
United career, and he followed former team- mate Bryan Robson to
Middleborough in 1994. Currently Clayton is an Academy Coach at Old Trafford
alongside his media work for both SKY and MUTV, he is dedicated to raising
money for Charity both through his Foundation and other ventures such as the

Leah Gooding has been a presenter with Newsround for two years, branching
out recently to work on the BBC's flagship nature show Autumnwatch. Working
with children primarily for Newsround Leah has always been aware how
important communication is for children, without being able to project
thoughts and feelings as easily as others can make the world seem like a
frustrating place. And this was ever more apparent for Leah when her 5-yearold nephew needed help from I CAN. He found it difficult to sound out words
and complete sentences but since attending an I CAN nursery he has blossomed
into a confident and outgoing child. Everyone at I CAN does such an important
job, Leah is thrilled to be able to represent the charity and help raise some cash

Scottish by birth, Gordon was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. With an injury
prematurely putting an end to any hopes of a promising career in soccer, he went back to
college to complete a course in hotel management and his dedication and natural talent
led him to train with some of world’s leading chefs. In 1993 Gordon became chef of
Aubergine in London and within three years was awarded two Michelin stars. In 1998, at
the age of 31, Gordon set up his own restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which
quickly received the most prestigious accolade in the culinary world – three Michelin stars.
One of only four chefs in the UK to maintain three stars, Gordon was awarded an OBE in
2006 for services to the industry. Now internationally renowned, Gordon has opened a
string of successful restaurants across the globe, from Italy to LA. 2011 has proved to be
another exciting year and saw the opening of Bread Street Kitchen in London’s City
district, as well as a venture across the pond in Montreal, Canada. Gordon has become a
star of the small screen both in the UK and internationally, with two top rated shows in
the US. Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen are both into their third and ninth
series respectively, whilst his latest show, Masterchef US, is now in its second series and is
proving to be another massive hit with viewers. Gordon has also published a number of
books, many of which have become best sellers across the world, notably his
autobiography, Roasting in Hell’s Kitchen.
