Once again we will be together in the fantastic venue of Koper
Portoroz. After two unforgettable experiences we have decided to go
back there also in 2016.
The reason is very simple: a new amazing sea & mountains route,
the presence and sponsorship of Banka Koper, the special spirit of
this event.
But as usual we have prepared some surprises that will make this
“Intesa Sanpaolo Running Event 2016” really special…
We would like to thank our Banka Koper colleagues for their great
proactive support.
We are sure that once again we will prove to be a truly international
team, sharing jobs and acting with friendship and respect.
Now it is time to put on your shoes and start running, feeling the sea
and the wind of the marvellous Slovenian coast….

Arrival of the participants during the day

• 19:30 Official “Stay Together” dinner
• Delivery of the race packet (bib)
Sunday 10 April 2016
• Races in the morning:
Recreational Run (10 km)
Half Marathon (21 km)
Marathon (42 km)
Following the schedule that will be communicated
by the organizing team:
• Farewell Buffet Lunch
• Local Bus pick up service
Participants will receive the detailed program and logistic
information as soon as they will be confirmed by the organization
staff of the competition.
THE HOTEL

50 mt far from the Sea and downtown Portoroz,
this hotel is specifically directed to sport people.
Spa, Gym, swimming pools at disposal of the guests.
It is the usual hotel of the basket, volley and handball
national teams coming regularly for training
and international competition.

THE BANKA KOPER ISTRIAN MARATHON
This third edition will have a new route with different start and
arrival points. Vineyards, beach, sea, hills and all the tonalities
of green and blue will stay with you. The runners can choose
10 km, half marathon and marathon contests.
Banka Koper is the official title sponsor of the Istrian Marathon.
