Port of Koper - Slovenia
Luka Koper is the only Slovenian international cargo port.
Its geographical position provides the closest connection
of Central and Eastern Europe with the Mediterranean.
The main trade flows are coming to the port through the
Gibraltar and the Suez Canal. The biggest advantage of the
port is its geographic location, which in addition to greater
access to the markets in Central and Eastern Europe, also
allows the inclusion in trade flows at the intersection of
5th and 10th Pan-European transport corridor.

The sea in the port is deep from 7 to 18 meters. The Port
can accommodate ships with a capacity of 180,000 tonnes.
In 2013 the port cargo throughput reached 18 million tons.
