Industrial Activities
Three main hubs of activity:

Port Said East: an industrial zone focused on
light- intermediate activities connected to the Port
and Logistics Centre. This includes Agribusiness,
Textiles, Automotive Assembly and Parts,
Pharmaceuticals and other general manufacturing.
Production here is primarily export-oriented.
•
Ismailia is also centred on light industries
including Agribusiness and Textiles. Other
economic activities in the region include renewable
energy generation and testing, ICT research and
so forth.
•
Finally, at Ain Sokhna, the industrial zone sits at
the hinterland of the Port with a supporting
Logistics Centre. Industry here is a mix of light –
intermediate and heavy. This includes
Petrochemicals, Production of Energy
Components, Building Materials, Automotive
Assembly etc.)
