any sharp edges.

Projects can be adapted to suit students
from ages 4 to 18 and can incorporate the
whole school. Parents, staff and the wider
community can also be included.
Budget
Costs for creative school projects are
variable depending on materials used, the
number of days spent with the school, and
the amount of preparation work needed.
A one day workshop in school costs £200
(exclusive of materials and prep).

Creative Glass Workshops
About Fantasia Glass:
Fantasia Glass is a local business run
by Artist Helen Thomson. As well as
making commissions and bespoke
glass works, Helen offers exciting
creative workshops to schools. Each
school project teaches students
traditional and contemporary glass craft
skills such as leading and fusing.
Students work collaboratively with
Helen to design and make their own
artwork for display either at home or
back at school.
Helen has recently worked with
Greatham Primary to create a
commemorative window for the schools
100th anniversary, and with Sunhill
Infants to make glass garden
installations for their school.
If you are interested in finding out
more about a school workshop
with Helen, please get in contact
for a consultation.
